As a singer (often he also worked as a songwriter) and actor, Sawada prospered greatly on Japanese popular culture in the last three decades of the Shōwa era. At the end of the 1960s, he had great success as the lead singer of the band The Tigers. After the breakup of The Tigers and another project Pyg, he began his own solo career.
Music career
Sawada was the lead singer of the best-known J-pop music act of the late 1960s Group Sounds era band The Tigers. A national teen idol, his nickname is Julie. Japanese pop stars of that era often adopted nicknames, particularly often English-language girls' names. His nickname is derived from the actress Julie Andrews as he is a fan of hers. The group was signed by Watanabe
Productions.
In 1968, Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees was commissioned to compose two songs for the band in an attempt at international success. One of the songs was a hit in Japan, titled "Smile for Me" and sung by Sawada. In spite of his clear English pronunciation, the record did not make the pop charts in foreign markets as the Watanabe Productions management team had hoped. The band disbanded shortly after its release.
In 1970, after The Tigers broke up, Sawada formed the supergroup, Pyg. Kenichi Hagiwara, Sawada's main rival in the Group Sounds era, was a co-lead vocalist. When Pyg disbanded, Sawada went solo, but the acting was to be his main form of artistic expression after that. Sawada started to wear trendy clothes and make-up in the 1970s and became regarded as an influential fashion innovator.
In the 1980s he was in Co-Colo with Hideki Ishima.
Sawada also plays the shamisen. He appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone in March 1969 (No. 28), and is the only Japanese as a cover person of this magazine other than Yoko Ono.
Film career
Sawada's best-known roles include playing in Paul Schrader's biopic movie about Yukio Mishima, Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters and playing in Takashi Miike's horror-comedy musical The Happiness of the Katakuris.
Personal life
He married Emi Ito, the member of 1960s pop duo The Peanuts, in 1975, but they divorced in 1987.[3] He is married to Oshin star Yūko Tanaka, whom he met on the set of Tora-san, the Expert.

Nickname is Julie (since Mr. Sawada himself was a fan of actress Julie Andrews). My wife is actress Yuko Tanaka. My ex-wife is the former Peanut's Ito Emi. Height: 171 cm. Currently lives in Naka-ku, Yokohama City.

June 25, 1948, born in Tsunoi-mura, Iwami-gun, Tottori Prefecture (now Tsunoi, Tottori City), where his parents' home is located. After graduating from Kyoto City Daisan Ebayashi Elementary School and Okazaki Junior High School, in April 1964, he entered Kyoto's prestigious school, Kyoto Prefectural High School, and later dropped out of the same school. The actress Reiko Oshinada is also from the same high school as Sawada. As a boy, he was admired by professional baseball players, who liked Tetsuji Kawakami and Shigeru Fujio. In junior high school, he served as the captain of the baseball club and has a first baseman position. He was ranked 4th in the Kyoto city tournament and advanced to the Kyoto prefecture tournament, but it is said that he lost his dream and gave up his dream. I belong to the karate club in high school.
When I was doing a part-time job for a doorboy at the Kyoto dance cafe "Denara", I was called to Sanders, and 17-year-old Sawada became a lode and vocalist. Sawada who saw the stage and Sally of Playboys (Shuzo Kishibe = present Kichibe Kazunori) Sawada was invited as a lead vocal, and joined Sally and Playboys officially on the first day of the following year, and the group name is "Funnys" It changed.

Yukie’s graceful and romantic melodies continue to strike a chord with people of all ages. She has released more than 30 albums and composed music for a number of movies, TV dramas as well as commercials. Her most famous film/television scores include the 101st Marriage Proposal (TV drama series, 1991), Helen the Baby Fox (motion picture, 2006), and the NHK Archives.
Yukie’s musical talent was discovered at an early age. She was already an accomplished pianist and composer long before she made her professional debut in 1986 when she concurrently began her academic pursuits in piano performance at Toho Gakuen School of Music. During her childhood, Yukie occasionally took part in concert tours and had the pleasure of performing with maestros and world’s best orchestras. In the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia, the little girl earned praise from audiences.
Each year, Yukie travels across Japan, performing more than 60 live concerts. 2011 marked the 25th anniversary of her professional career, and she performed in Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan, where she was warmly applauded by audiences.
Yukie’s artistic endeavors are not limited to making music. She writes, presents a radio show, and frequently appears on television. She is also dedicated to philanthropic work. In addition to performing at schools and hospitals, she leads “Simile Piano 500,” a charity project that helps people donate their pianos to the areas hard hit by the Great East Japan Earthquake and ensuing tsunami.
As part of her efforts to seek new forms of expression, Yukie collaborates with artists of different genres and fields. The most recent such endeavor is “Frédéric Back Meets Yukie Nishimura,” a CD/DVD set released in July 2012. Mr. Back, an animator who won the Academy Award for Animated Short Film in 1981, contributed illustrations to this album, inspired by Yukie’s piano works.

It became widely famous in Latin America, particularly in Colombia, Puerto Rico, Panama, Mexico, Perú and other Caribbean area countries. The Japanese salsa band Orquesta de La Luz was quite a large one, whose main focal point (and only consistent member throughout their tenure together) was singer Nora.
Throughout the years, Nora was joined by a rotating cast of musicians in the group, including Gen Ogimi, percussion; Carlos Kanno, percussion; Genichi Egawa, timbales; Gen Date, conga; Hiroshi Sawada, bass; Satoru Shoinoya, piano, keyboards; Shiro Sasaki, trumpet; Tatsuya Shimogami, trumpet; Yoshihito Fukumoto, trumpet; Hideaki Nakaji, trombone; and Taisei Aoki, trombone, while co-producer/arranger Sergio George contributed keyboards from time to time.
The group built a substantial following in their homeland during the early to mid-'90s (with such releases as 1990's Orquesta de La Luz, 1991's Sin Fronteras, and 1992's Somos Diferentes), before switching their sound primarily to jazz and ballads. By 1995, Orquesta de La Luz had broken up, with Nora launching a solo career shortly thereafter (and returning to her former band's early salsa sound).

Although the band has experienced several line-up changes, for most of its recording career, Shadows Fall has been composed of Jon Donais (lead guitar), Matt Bachand (rhythm guitar, clean vocals), Paul Romanko (bass), Brian Fair (lead vocals), and Jason Bittner (drums).
Shadows Fall has released seven studio albums, two compilation albums, and two DVDs. The band's first album featured Philip Labonte (of All That Remains) on lead vocals; but, he was soon replaced by Fair. In February 2008, the band was a Grammy Award nominee in the category Best Metal Performance for the song "Redemption" off the album Threads of Life. The album, Fire From the Sky, was released on May 15, 2012 and was the first to be produced by Adam Dutkiewicz since the band's first studio release.
Shadows Fall was formed in 1995 by guitarists Jonathan Donais and Matt Bachand, then good friends from the local music scene. Bachand had previously been a founding member of a death metal band and Donais a member of the metalcore band Aftershock. By 1996 the band had found a complete lineup with the addition of Damien McPherson (vocals), Mark Laliberte (bass), and David Germain (drums). Also in 1996, Adam Dutkiewicz performed live drums to fill in for Germain. By late 1996, the band recorded and released a demo titled Mourning a Dead World, of which only about 200 copies were produced. It consisted of the songs Lifeless, Suffer the Season, Fleshold, Forever Lost, A Souls Salvation, and Deadworld. McPherson decided to leave the band, and was replaced by Philip Labonte in 1997. Around the same time, bass guitarist Paul Romanko, formally of the hardcore band Pushbutton Warfare, was recruited as a permanent replacement for Laliberte, who had originally joined on a temporary basis. Now with a more solid lineup, the band released its first EP, To Ashes, with Dutkiewicz playing as a session drummer. The band's name, according to Bachand, comes from the title of a comic book published in the early 1990s.

Mehldau studied music at The New School, and toured and recorded while still a student. He was a member of saxophonist Joshua Redman's Quartet with bassist Christian McBride and drummer Brian Blade in the mid-1990s, and has led his own trio since the early 1990s. His first long-term trio featured bassist Larry Grenadier and drummer Jorge Rossy; in 2005 Jeff Ballard replaced Rossy. These bands have released a dozen albums under the pianist's name.
Since the early 2000s Mehldau has experimented with other musical formats in addition to trio and solo piano. Largo, released in 2002, contains electronics and input from rock and classical musicians; later examples include touring and recording with guitarist Pat Metheny, writing and playing song cycles for classical singers Renée Fleming and Anne Sofie von Otter, composing orchestral pieces for 2009's Highway Rider, and playing electronic keyboard instruments in a duo with drummer Mark Guiliana.
Aspects of pop, rock, and classical music, including German Romanticism, have been absorbed into Mehldau's writing and playing. Through his use of some traditional elements of jazz without being restricted by them, simultaneous playing of different melodies in separate hands, and incorporation of pop and rock pieces, Mehldau has influenced musicians in and beyond jazz in their approaches to writing, playing, and choice of repertoire.
Mehldau was born on August 23, 1970, in Jacksonville, Florida.[1] His father, Craig Mehldau, was an ophthalmologist,[3] and his mother, Annette, was a homemaker. His sister, Leigh Anne, became a social worker. There was always a piano in the house during Mehldau's childhood, and he initially listened to pop and rock music on the radio. His family moved to West Hartford, Connecticut, when Mehldau was 10. Up to this point he had played mostly simple pop tunes and exercises from books, but the move brought him a new piano teacher, who introduced him to classical music. This new interest lasted for a few years, but by the age of 14 he was listening more to jazz, including recordings by saxophonist John Coltrane and pianist Oscar Peterson.Keith Jarrett's Bremen/Lausanne helped Mehldau realize the potential of the piano as an instrument.
Mehldau attended William H. Hall High School and played in its concert jazz band.[8] From the age of 15 until he graduated from high school he had a weekly gig at a local club, and performed for weddings and other parties, often with fellow Hall student Joel Frahm.[9] In his junior year at the school Mehldau won Berklee College's Best All Round Musician Award for school students.[10] Mehldau described himself as being, up to this point, "a white, upper-middle-class kid who lived in a pretty homogenized environment".
After graduating, Mehldau moved to New York City in 1988 to study jazz and contemporary music at The New School. He studied under pianists Fred Hersch, Junior Mance and Kenny Werner, and drummer Jimmy Cobb. In 1989 Mehldau was part of saxophonist Christopher Hollyday's band that toured for several months; as a result of playing so often with one group, Mehldau was able to assimilate the music of Wynton Kelly and McCoy Tyner, his two principal influences on piano up to that point, and began to develop his own sound. Before the age of 20 Mehldau also had gigs in Cobb's band, along with fellow student Peter Bernstein on guitar.

Jeff Ballard is an American jazz drummer from Santa Cruz, California. He has played with Ray Charles and Pat Metheny and plays periodically with Chick Corea in many groups such as Origin and the Chick Corea New Trio. He also played with many New York-based jazz musicians such as Reid Anderson, Brad Mehldau, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Mark Turner, Miguel Zenon and Eli Degibri. He has also played with the Joshua Redman Elastic Band.
He is a member of the Brad Mehldau Trio (since 2005) and co-leader of Fly, a collective trio with Mark Turner and Larry Grenadier and leads Jeff Ballard Trio and Jeff Ballard Fairgrounds.
Jeff Ballard was born 17 September 1963 in southern California but grew up and studied in Santa Cruz, California.[1] He began playing drums at the age of 14, attended Cabrillo College where he studied music theory, and toured with many bands, all the time absorbing influences and developing his own approach to drumming. He met Larry Grenadier in 1982, with whom he plays in both Fly and Brad Mehldau Trio. At the age of 24 he went on the road with Ray Charles for eight months every year 1988-1990 playing in Charles' Big Band.[1] He moved to New York in 1990, where he started collaborating with Ben Monder, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Mark Turner and Ben Allison. Later on in New York he started to play with Avishai Cohen and Chick Corea.Ballard started the band Fly with Larry Grenadier and Mark Turner around the time Ballard was working with Corea.[1] Brad Mehldau invited Ballard to play in his trio in 2005, with whom he has played ever since.[5] He formed the Jeff Ballard Trio with Lionel Loueke and Miguel Zenon, releasing Time’s Tales (Okeh) as the recording debut for Ballard as leader in 2014. The band was formed in January 1997 by singer Kumi and guitarist Naoki Sato, while studying at Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo. Only Kumi and Naoki remained finally in the band though it consisted of several members at first.
They signed with major label Victor in 1999.
Their first album, The Greatest Hits, sold over two million copies.[2] Their second album Love Psychedelic Orchestra, released on January 9, 2001, sold 690,000 copies.
Love Psychedelico visited America in March 2001 and appeared at the music festival SXSW. They also toured extensively through the club and bar circuit in the United States, garnering largely positive reactions. American cities the band has said to have enjoyed playing were Nashville, Austin, and Kumi's childhood home of San Francisco.
They have released two albums since, Love Psychedelico III, in early 2004, and compilation album Early Times, in February 2005. This best-of compilation received a positive response in the Taiwanese J-pop market and the group visited Taiwan in June of that year. They held a concert in Taipei on June 22 where many fans gathered, including a sizable number of celebrity attendees. It proved to be a very successful concert for the duo who do not usually appear publicly.
For the promotion of their album, Golden Grapefruit, Love Psychedelico made their first televised music program appearance on Bokura no Ongaku in 2007. It is also notable that they were interviewed by Yoko Ono, famous experimental musician and widow of John Lennon.
They released the album This is Love Psychedelico in the United States on May 20 from HackTone Records[4] because David Gorman, the president of the label, wanted a contract with them after listening to a record he got from an acquaintance. It marked their American debut. This album was also released on June 18, 2008 in Japan as This is Love Psychedelico ~U.S.Best~.
Stylistically, Love Psychedelico is highly reminiscent of the British Invasion of the late 60s, both members having cited The Beatles and Led Zeppelin as influences, though the influence of American folk and blues are also present (Kumi having claimed Janis Joplin and Sheryl Crow, and Sato Bob Dylan, as influences). To pay tribute to their influences, Love Psychedelico sometimes borrow song titles from the bands that influence them.
Kumi's lyrics mix English and Japanese; while doing so is common in popular Japanese music, Kumi's performance is marked by fluent English pronunciation and an English-inflected pronunciation of Japanese, similar to that of many Japanese who have spent significant time abroad. While she did spend five years in San Francisco from the ages of 2 to 5, her spoken Japanese does not display the same affectations. This pronunciation makes the group's songs difficult to reproduce in karaoke performances in contrast bands such as Superfly who have a similar stylistic approach but without the English-affected Japanese.
And so the album was made, with both creative urgency and the patience of an artist sifting through the many song proposals she received. Her last album of original songs, Recto verso, dates back to 2013 and it's clear that her vision of the world has been profoundly reshaped by her travels and her encounters.
No brief was given to the songwriters, not even a clear direction. She simply wanted songs that were right for her, that fulfilled her need for incarnation, transparency, and honesty, through the good times as well as the bad.
Zaz is not afraid to admit it: it's not always an easy process. Though millions of listeners and viewers are regularly moved to tears, or energised by her songs, she works cautiously and tentatively, discarding and rewriting until finally she is satisfied with her songs.
Listening to Effet Miroir, you wouldn't necessarily know which songs are her own work and which were given to her by others. The album's opening track, Demain c'est toi (Tomorrow it's you) talks about a future child. "These are my words", she says, but they were written by Gaël Faye. In J’aime j’aime (I like, I like), Marion Romitti draws a self-portrait of a solitary dreamer and, in Je parle (I speak), Ben Mazué gives her a voice ("Me, I speak / I try, I try, I give it a shot / You know there's no harm done / It's the silence that scares me").
But Ma valse (My waltz), with its softness and intimacy, is entirely of her own creation, written at five in the morning, with the voice on the demo used directly on the album: "Watch me smile / Like a rose in the breeze / Fluttering, growing beautiful / Under the burning desire / Of being alive and queen / Of my innocent world".
For Résigne-moi (Let me go), she liked a demo by Ilan Abou, recorded an energetic "load of rubbish" in the studio, and then wrote and recorded final version at home: "I'm trying to understand what I feel / To see where I stand in all this / To learn how to better love myself / I know this but have to take it on board / More in my body than in my psyche / Let me go, let me go".
She closes her album with the memory of a trip, in Lapland, a combination of confession, slam poetry and artistic reflection, as she portrays the frozen splendour of the Far North and of life itself. Images of a far-off land, echoing the album's title, Mirror Effect, about which she says: "Everything we see in the world is our own vision, through our own lens, what we love, what we hate, what makes us angry, what we create... When we look around, it is often ourselves that we see".
Effet Miroir could easily have been a double album, with so much to say about her own career, her hopes and fears for the future. Never before has she been so involved in developing an album, at every stage of its creation, and always striving for perfection - the colour of each instrument, the sincerity of every word about her personal life, the relevance of her social expression…
Effet miroir is only her third album since 2010 (plus two live albums and a homage to her adopted city, Paris), drawing inspiration and strength from her many adventures and collaborations. With a sense of urgency and escape, half in Paris and half elsewhere, the album was mostly made with the production teams of Jo Francken and Ilan Abou. There was a trip to Montréal to the studio of Patrick Watson, who blends his voice with hers on Mes souvenirs de toi (My memories of you). And another to Raphaël's studio to record the resolutely cinematographic Saint Valentin (Valentine's Day). Then a very rhythmic side step (irresistible on stage!) with Mathieu Boogaerts's Pourquoi tu joues faux (Why are you playing so badly), before straying into Beatles territory in Toute ma vie (All my life) by Jérémie Kisling ("I had to spit it like Blondie", she says).
Along the way, she took the time out for an eleven-date tour to fund the Zazimut project, benefiting local community and environmental initiatives, all while introducing new songs. The fans immediately grabbed onto new anthems like On s’en remet jamais (You never get over it) which tackles mourning in all its forms with an inexhaustible lust for life, as well as the reggae sound of Plume (Feather) by Florian de Taevernier who wants to "Meet the sun... and just see what it looks like", and the Hispanic momentum of Qué vendrá, the first single released from the album. Then there's Nos Vis (Our lives) by Tibz, a collective self-portrait of a generation - "For sure, we are good together / I swear, that our lives are alike / I know, we'll be drawn to each other / For sure, we are good together".
As for the singer herself, and her extraordinary artistic adventure spanning several continents, she is easily recognisable in Si c’était à refaire (If I had to do it again), whose lyrics are co-written by Sophie Maurin and Lise Chemla: "I sing, I fall, I move, I progress / And if I had to do it again / Laid bare, fierce as a mother / I would follow my tracks in the dust". Zaz shows us just how deep her mirror goes. We see ourselves in it too…
On 2 September 2014, FC Osaka announced a partnership with Sporting Clube de Macau, which makes the transfer of players between Macau and Japan possible.
In 2018, they ranked 2nd place at Japan Football League.
The Japan Football League, also known as simply the JFL is the 4th tier of the Japanese association football league system, positioned beneath three divisions of the J.League, and the top tier of amateur football in the country. Despite its officially amateur status, the league features fully professional teams that hold J.League associate membership among its ranks.
The Japan Football League started from the 1999 season when the second division of J.League (J2) was also born. Until then, J.League consisted of only one division and the former JFL was the second highest division. Out of 16 teams who played the last season of the former JFL, 9 decided and were accepted to play in J2 and the other 7 teams as well as Yokogawa Electric, the winners of the Regional League Promotion Series, formed the new Japan Football League. These 8 teams together with Yokohama FC that was allowed to participate as a special case after the merger of Yokohama Flügels and Yokohama F. Marinos competed in the inaugural 1999 season.
The 9 teams that competed in the first season were as follows: Denso SC, Honda Motors, Jatco SC, Kokushikan University F.C., Mito HollyHock, Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, Sony Sendai, Yokohama FC and Yokogawa Electric.
In the second season the number of clubs was increased from 9 to 12, reaching 16 in 2001. In 2002 it was briefly 18 clubs before going back to 16 the next season and settling for good at 18 in 2006. For the 2012 season it had 17 clubs due to the late withdrawal of Arte Takasaki.
The league suffered another contraction after 2013 season, as 10 of its 18 teams joined the newly created J3 League. It also moved a tier down the pyramid, making it fourth-tier league since 2014.
Four former JFL clubs have competed in the top flight: Yokohama FC (2007), Otsuka Pharmaceuticals (2014, as Tokushima Vortis), Matsumoto Yamaga (2015), and V-Varen Nagasaki (2018).
Tokyo Musashino City F.C. is a football (soccer) club based in Musashino City, Tokyo, Japan. They play in the Japan Football League. Their team color is blue.
The club was founded as a football club of Yokogawa Electric Corporation in 1939. In 1978, the club achieved their first promotion to the Kanto Regional League. Despite experiencing the relegation to the Tokyo Prefecture League twice, they were determined to bounce back and gained the promotion to the Japan Football League in 1999. Although the club still has a strong association with Yokogawa Electric, they left the nest in 2003 and started the new life as a non-corporation club under the name Yokogawa Musashino until 2015. The club was renamed Tokyo Musashino City in January 2016.
Their home ground is Musashino Municipal Athletic Stadium but they also play some of their home games at Ajinomoto Stadium, Ajinomoto Stadium sub ground, Edogawa Stadium, and Nishigaoka Soccer Stadium.
Sony Sendai FC (ソニー仙台F.C. , Sonī Sendai Efu Shī) is a football club based in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan that plays in the Japan Football League. The team colour is navy.
The club was founded by the workers of Sony's Sendai factory in 1968. They kept a low profile playing mainly in the Miyagi Prefecture League for a long time. However, it changed suddenly in 1993 when they embarked on a challenging task to reach the former Japan Football League within 5 years. They became league champions for 4 consecutive seasons starting from 1994, first in the Prefecture League and the others in the Tōhoku Regional League. They achieved their goal and were promoted to the JFL by winning the 1997 Regional League play-off.
When the J. League Division 2 was formed in 1999, the club decided not to turn professional. They joined the newly organised Japan Football League instead and have been an established JFL side since then.
As a result of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, Sony Sendai, with permission from the JFL, did not contest the first half of the 2011 season. They expectedly earned last place on points, but due to Machida Zelvia and Matsumoto Yamaga being promoted to Division 2 and JEF Reserves withdrawing from the competition, they were spared relegation.
In 2015 Sony Sendai won the second stage and earned its first JFL title by defeating first stage champions Vanraure Hachinohe on penalties after a tied two-leg final on aggregate.

Honda FC is a Japanese football club based in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. They play in the Japan Football League.
The club was founded as Honda Motor, Honda works team in 1971. They were promoted to the Japan Soccer League Division 2 in 1975 and to the JSL Division 1 in 1981; the closest they came to the title was in 1985–86 and 1990–91 seasons, when they finished in third place. In 1991 they also made the finals of both the Japan Soccer League Cup and Konica Cup, but lost both times. They also made the Emperor's Cup semi-finals in 1990 and 1991. They stayed in the top flight until the conclusion of the league in 1992.
In early 90's, the club considered the possibilities of turning professional and participating in J. League. They sought the merger with their sister club Honda Motor Sayama F.C. and Urawa was chosen as a possible hometown. However, they failed to persuade the owner Honda Motor who insisted they should abide by their principle to concentrate on their core business of automobile manufacturing.
As a result of this decision, many players left the club. They played in the newly formed Japan Football League Division 1 in 1992 and finished 9th out of 10. They were relegated to Division 2 where they won the championship in 1993. The 2 divisions of the JFL were merged in 1994 and the club joined the league.
In 1996, they won the championship in the JFL. Around that time, the club made the second effort to be a professional club. They acquired associate membership in J. League under new name Acute Hamamatsu but the inadequate stadium and insufficient local support (the closest professional club is Júbilo Iwata, formerly part of Yamaha Motor Corporation), forced them to give it up. Iwata was a common derby foe in the JSL and their fixtures were known as Tenryu-side Derby (天竜川決戦).
In 1999, the JFL was reorganised as the new JFL. They have been playing in the league since its inception.

The club is backed by the Hoyo Group, a digital camera and auto parts manufacturer based in nearby Kunisaki. In 2010 they changed their name to Hoyo Atletico Elan Oita. In 2011, they changed their name to Hoyo AC Elan Oita, they won the Kyushu Championship and then earned third place in the Regional League promotion series, and will compete in the JFL beginning in 2012. In 2012, they changed their name to Hoyo Oita.

They finished runners-up and were accepted by the Japan Football League. The club became the third university club that were allowed to play in the JFL following Kokushikan University SC and Shizuoka Sangyo University SC (the former withdrew and the latter was relegated).
As of 2010, the JFA has barred all university clubs from competing in the Regional Promotion Series, which means that no further university clubs can compete in the JFL. RKU, however, was still allowed to compete in the JFL until their relegation in the same season.

Veertien Mie (ヴィアティン三重) is a Japanese football club based between Kuwana and Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture. They play in the Japan Football League.
"Veertien" means "fourteen" in Dutch, after Johan Cruijff's playing number. As with V-Varen Nagasaki, their colors are orange with traces of blue. Founded in 2012 to bring a team from Mie Prefecture to professional football in Japan, Doru Isac was invited to overview the activities at the club. After using the name Veertien Kuwana for two seasons, they converted the denomination in 2014 to Veertien Mie.
Results came rapidly, since the club was able to clinch five promotions in a row, from the 3rd division of the Mie Prefectural League to the Japan Football League for the 2017 season. They also featured in one edition of the Emperor's Cup, reaching the 2nd round in 2014 and losing to Cerezo Osaka only after extra time.
Tegevajaro Miyazaki (テゲバジャーロ宮崎) is a football club based in Miyazaki, the capital city of Miyazaki Prefecture in Japan. They play in the Japan Football League, the highest tier of amateur football in Japan.
Born in 1965 as Kadokawa Club, the club changed twice their name: first they became Andiamo Kadokawa 1965 in 2004 and then MSU FC in 2007.The current name came only in January 2015: Tegevajaro is a mix formed by tege, the Miyazaki dialect pronunciation of the word sugoi ("cool, amazing") and the Spanish words vaca and pájaro (which mean "cow" and "bird"). In the logo, you can also visualize the Miyazaki-jingū.
Tegevajaro Miyazaki aims to become one of J. League clubs: they first pointed J3 League for 2017 season, but they now hope just to reach Japan Football League. Recently they've been able to sign pro managers and players: Nobuhiro Ishizaki was chosen in 2017 to coach the club, while former J1 League players Yasuhito Morishima and Keiji Takachi signed for the team.
Suzuka Unlimited FC (鈴鹿アンリミテッドFC) is a Japanese football club based in Suzuka, Mie Prefecture. They play in Japan Football League.
The club was originally established in Nabari, Mie in 1980 under the name Mie Club, and it became a member of Mie Football Association to join the Mie prefectural league in 1982. The club went up to the top division in 1991 and remained there until 2005, when local organisers kicked off the idea of developing a larger and more ambitious football team.
The region to the southwest of Nagoya has been traditionally very populous but still undeveloped from a football perspective despite a number of successes by local high school football. In mid- 2005, a group of local businessmen, football fans and coaches from Mie Prefecture, who were eager to put together a team to represent the area, approached Bunji Kimura, an ex-football manager of Kyoto Sanga F.C. and Yokohama Flügels. Kimura was convinced to accept the position of the president and technical director of a club that was then going by the name of "W.S.C. Nabari Admiral". Kimura plunged in and began a very ambitious project to transform the team from a bunch of amateur kickers in a tiny town to a much more competitive and tightly-run organisation representing the aspirations of the entire prefecture.
At Kimura's insistence, the team in February 2006 took the name "MIE FC Rampole", taking its name from the famous Japanese mystery novel writer Rampo Edogawa, who was born in Mie Prefecture. The part "ole" of the name is supposedly a Spanish word "Olé" used to cheer and applaud (cf. Consadole Sapporo). Following the name change the club launched its official website on 22 February. Kimura quickly began drawing upon his network of J.League contacts to bring in more experienced coaches and organisers, and by the end of his first season in charge the club advanced to the second division of the Tōkai Regional League.
Whereas its progress on the pitch has stalled temporarily, with third-place finishes in both 2007 and 2008, the club has been focusing most of its attention on the organisational goals. An independent corporation was establisned in 2006, fulfilling one of the requirements of J. League Associate Membership, and in 2008 the team merged with nearby Suzuka Club, thereby absorbing a youth program that can help to meet another key requirement. Following the merger, the team announced on 1 September 2008 that it changed its name to "F.C. Suzuka Rampole", and moved its home playing ground from Ueno Athletic Park Stadium to Suzuka Sports Garden from 2009 season. The club carried out the move since 1) Suzuka is the city world-famous for the F1 circuit located outside town, and 2) its population base and location, squarely in the middle of Mie Prefecture's main population centres is considered to be ideal.
On January 28, 2016, the team announced an immediate change of the team name to Suzuka Unlimited FC.

League, while winning twice the Chūgoku Soccer League.
