Track spikes, or just spikes, are racing shoes used by athletes when racing on the track. Some spikes are designed for longer-term training on tracks, but generally the shoes are used for racing. The term "spikes" can also refer to track shoes featuring such protrusions, though these are technically called pins. Spikes are similar to studs, which are used for team sports, although generally smaller and with a sharp point.
OreSkaBand (オレスカバンド , Oresukabando) is an all-female ska band from Sakai, Japan. As well as performing regularly within Japan, they have toured in North and South America, as well as Europe.
The band name, "ore ska band," literally translates as "we're (a) ska band." While "ore" is normally considered a masculine pronoun and an informal way to say "I" in Japanese, and the suffix "-tachi" is added to personal nouns when emphasizing that they are plural, in this context the term "ore" means something more along the lines of "we fellows." The choice of "ore" is also one of gender play, as the band would typically appear wearing boys' school uniform in their early videos and concerts.
OreSkaBand began in 2003 when the members were still in middle school. Ikasu saw Tae playing in a local band and asked her to form a new one with her and some of their other friends. They self-produced their first album, Penpal, in 2005 and were signed by Sony Music in 2006 while they were still in high school.
The band received media attention from their appearance in a commercial advertising the popular Japanese snack Pocky, as well as having their song Jitensha featured as the 13th Naruto: Shippuden anime ending theme. In July 2006, their major debut album Ore was released and a month later, they appeared at the Fuji Rock Festival attracting 1,000 attendees, a record for a new artist. In March 2007, the band members graduated from high school and toured in the United States appearing in Austin, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
In April 2007, their song, Tsumasaki (爪先 , Fingertips), was featured as the 11th ending for the anime Bleach. They played at Anime Expo in Long Beach, California in July 2007 and at the Vans Warped Tour in Marysville, California and Portland, Oregon. The band also played the entire 2008 Vans Warped Tour. The band was featured in executive producer Barry Rosenbush's film, Lock and Roll Forever, which was set for a 2008 release in Japan. Oreskaband also performed at the Otakon 2015 convention.
In 2016, long-time saxophonist Morico left the band to start a family, and the band released their third full-length album Slogan the same year, with new saxophonist ADD. In December 2018 it was announced that trumpeter Saki would be taking time off from OreSkaBand to pursue a songwriting career; support member Hisae Ōtomari began playing trumpet with the band in live performances and recording beginning in February 2019.

Garlicboys formed in 1985, and after releasing thrash demos such as Garlic Bomber and Garlicboys, they released their first EP Ninniku Night in 1988 and their thrash metal debut album Psycho Thrash in 1991. The release of Psycho Thrash brought them great success. They released Poem next, which brought a heavier sound to the Garlicboys. The band toured with acts such as D.R.I. and Exodus. The band also performed in the United States with acts such as NOFX, Sick Of It All, All You Can Eat, H2O, Madball, Youth Brigade, Propagandhi, Hi-Standard, Lagwagon, Face to Face, Strung Out, Gas Huffer, and the Offspring. The Garlicboys also toured with German band Die Ärzte on their European tour. In 2000, the Garlic Boys then released Mushroom Cut and Duffle Coat, a "pop punk" song from their album of the same name. Their most recent release is Ten, released in 2004, which showcases their ability to play melodic punk rock with obvious influence from speed metal.

Hard rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music that began in the mid-1960s, with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. It is typified by a heavy use of aggressive vocals, distorted electric guitars, bass guitar, drums, and often accompanied with keyboards.
Hard rock developed into a major form of popular music in the 1970s, with bands such as the Who, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Kiss, Queen, AC/DC and Van Halen. During the 1980s, some hard rock bands moved away from their hard rock roots and more towards pop rock, while others began to return to a hard rock sound. Established bands made a comeback in the mid-1980s and it reached a commercial peak in the 1980s, with glam metal bands like Bon Jovi and Def Leppard and the rawer sounds of Guns N' Roses, which followed up with great success in the later part of that decade. Hard rock began losing popularity with the commercial success of R&B, hip-hop, urban pop, grunge and later Britpop in the 1990s.
Despite this, many post-grunge bands adopted a hard rock sound and in the 2000s there came a renewed interest in established bands, attempts at a revival, and new hard rock bands that emerged from the garage rock and post-punk revival scenes. Out of this movement came garage rock bands like the White Stripes, the Strokes, Interpol and, later on, the Black Keys. In the 2000s, only a few hard rock bands from the 1970s and 1980s managed to sustain highly successful recording careers.

Besides the mainstream of Watanabe, the Matsuura in Hizen Province, later daimyō of Hirado Domain, were the most famous and flourished branch.
Several samurai clans claimed a genealogical relation to the above Watanabe family. They included Watanabe of Hakata and Watanabe of Ōmura. The Watanabe of Hakata were daimyō of Hakata Domain (Izumi Province) until the Meiji Restoration (1868). The Watanabe clan of Ōmura (Hizen Province) and the Watanabe clan of the Suwa (Shinano Province) were also ranked among the Peers after 1868.
During the Hōgen rebellion (1156), and the Genpei War (1180-1185), the Watanabe sided with Minamoto no Yorimasa (1106-1180), then with Minamoto no Yoritomo (1147-1199). In 1185, they sent ships and mounted warriors to support the Minamoto cause. The priest Mongaku Shōnin who urged Yoritomo to start a war against the Taira clan, and who managed to get a letter from the Emperor Go-Shirakawa (1127-1192) to Yoritomo, requesting that he set up an army and liberate the court from the tyranny of the Taira, was a kinsman of the Watanabe clan.
During the 16th century wars, the following Watanabe samurai distinguished themselves:

Nakano Fujo Sisters is a Japanese female idol group. Currently, they are not working and are only active as “Fudao Juku”, the figure they dressed as men.
This is the “Otaku Idol Unit” that pops out of the variety show “Hanawa Record“ Nakanofu Sisters ”” by ShowTime and GyaO on Internet TV.
Formed on September 8, 2006. The producer is “Jazzy Hanawa”, which is an entertainer ’s habit, and is considered a “far relative” on the setting. The catch phrase is "Otaku idol born from Nakano". “Nakano” here refers to Nakano Broadway. Abbreviations are “N-style S” and “724”. The latter is a numerical version of Nakano Fujo Sisters.
A woman who originally has a BL hobby is called a rot girl because her hobby is so high that she rots as a girl. It turns to be natural and it is rotting, and aims for space peace with the spirit of rotting and nambo. Some members actually have BL hobbies. The initial goals were to make a CD debut, sing an original anison, and perform at the Nakano Sun Plaza Hall, but in order. The secret is "One Style All / All Style One".
The original name was “Nakano Fujoshi Sisters” (reading was “Naka no Fujo Sisters”), and it was renamed “Nakano Fujoshi Sisters” on April 28, 2010.
On July 16, 2011, Yukiko who was a member from the beginning at the live performance at Shibuya O-EAST in Tokyo graduated. At the same time, the group name was changed to “Nakano Kaze Sisters”. The main reason is that the members lamented that they were not called on terrestrial TV variety programs (especially food and gourmet planning) because the group name was marked with a negative kanji character called “fu”. That's it.

Black Flag is an American punk rock band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California. Initially called Panic, the band was established by Greg Ginn, the guitarist, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member through multiple personnel changes in the band. They are widely considered to be one of the first hardcore punk bands as well as one of the pioneers of post-hardcore. After breaking up in 1986, Black Flag reunited in 2003 and again in 2013. The second reunion lasted well over a year, during which they released their first studio album in over two decades, What The… (2013). The band announced their third reunion in January 2019. Brandon Pertzborn was replaced by Isaias Gil on drums for the rest of the tour.
Black Flag's sound mixed the raw simplicity of the Ramones with atonal guitar solos and, in later years, frequent tempo shifts. The lyrics were written mostly by Ginn, and like other punk bands of the late 1970s and early 1980s, Black Flag voiced an anti-authoritarian and nonconformist message, in songs punctuated with descriptions of social isolation, neurosis, poverty, and paranoia. These themes were explored further when Henry Rollins joined the band as lead singer in 1981. Most of the band's material was released on Ginn's independent record label SST Records.
Over the course of the 1980s, Black Flag's sound, as well as their notoriety, evolved in ways that both embraced and alienated much of their early audience. As well as being central to the creation of hardcore punk, they were innovators in the first wave of American West Coast punk rock and are considered a key influence on punk subculture in the United States and abroad. Along with being among the earliest punk rock groups to incorporate elements and the influence of heavy metal melodies and rhythm, there were often overt freestyles, free jazz, breakbeat and contemporary classical elements in their sound, especially in Ginn's guitar playing, and the band interspersed records and performances with instrumentals throughout their career. They also played longer, slower, and more complex songs at a time when other bands in their milieu performed a raw, fast, three-chord format. As a result, their extensive discography is more stylistically varied than many of their punk rock contemporaries.
Frenzal Rhomb is an Australian punk rock band that formed in 1992 in Sydney, New South Wales. Three of the group's albums have entered the top 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart: A Man's Not a Camel (1999), Hi-Vis High Tea (2017) and Smoko At The Pet Food Factory (2011). Hi-Vis High Tea reached 9th position in the charts, sandwiched between two Ed Sheeran albums. The group has supported Australian tours by The Offspring, Bad Religion, NOFX, and Blink-182. Frenzal Rhomb have also toured in the United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), Canada, Japan, South Africa, Israel and Taiwan. The band has undergone several line-up changes, with lead vocalist Jason Whalley serving as the band's sole constant member.
Frenzal Rhomb formed in 1992 in the Sydney suburb of Newtown with Alexis 'Lex' Feltham on bass guitar and Jason Whalley on vocals. Feltham and Whalley had been school mates at St Ives High School in St Ives. Whalley had commenced a Bachelor of Arts course in philosophy at Sydney University when he formed Frenzal Rhomb as a punk rock band. The band was formed to take part in a battle of the bands and at that stage was not seen as a permanent project. The name is a reference to a band member's pet rat, who in turn was named for the Fresnel rhomb, which is a prism-like device invented by the 19th Century French engineer, Augustin-Jean Fresnel. By 1993, the group's line-up was Feltham, Whalley, Ben Costello on guitar and Karl Perske on drums. They played at the Sydney venue for the Big Day Out in January.
In March 1994, the band issued a seven-track EP, Dick Sandwich. Its cover had "a graphic drawing of the offending flaccid appendage draped over a sesame seed bun with lashings of bloody sauce." Posters with a similar image that advertised the group had them banned at some venues. National youth radio station Triple J criticised the group as being immature and told them to "grow up". The EP was described as having "good songs but it sounds like it was recorded under a doona" and had the group banned from some radio stations and retail outlets. One of its tracks, "I Wish I Was as Credible as Roger Climpson" (aka "Roger"), attracted attention of its subject, Roger Climpson – a Seven News anchor on TV – who posed with the group for a photo. The E.P also features fan favourites "Chemotherapy", and a cover of the TV series theme "Home And Away". The E.P featured an alternate cover depicting rabbits on the flipside of the liftout to appease record stores or people who may have been offended by the original artwork. In October of that year, they released a single, "Sorry About the Ruse", on their own label, How Much Did I Fucking Pay For This Records? The group were the local support act on the Australian leg of separate tours by United States punk rockers Bad Religion, The Offspring, and Blink-182.
No Fun at All (often abbreviated to just NFAA) is a Swedish punk rock band.
The band formed in the summer of 1991 in Skinnskatteberg. The group initially consisted of Mikael Danielsson (guitar), Jimmie Olsson (vocals, drums) and Henrik Sunvisson (bass guitar). The name was inspired by a tongue-in-cheek version of The Stooges' song "No Fun" as covered by the Sex Pistols, and the name of the band Sick of It All. The group released their albums on the Swedish label Burning Heart Records outside the United States. Within the U.S., No Fun at All's albums were released by Theologian Records and later by Epitaph Records.
In 1993, Jimmie Olsson left the band to concentrate on his other band Sober. He contributes on all records forward except Out of Bounds with backup vocals. No Fun at All then recruited three new members in Ingemar Jansson (vocals), Krister Johansson (guitar) and Kjell Ramstedt (drums). In 1999, Sunvisson left No Fun at All. Danielsson switched from guitar to bass guitar and Stefan Neuman, from Tribulation, took up the vacant guitar slot. On November 11, 2001, after ten years together and over 250,000 album sales worldwide, No Fun at All decided to quits.
Since 2004, No Fun at All has performed some reunion gigs. At the reunion show at the Groezrock Festival, No Fun at All announced that they would bring out a new album in the fall of 2008 through their own label Beat 'Em Down Records. On April 19, 2012 the Millencolin Festival announced that No Fun At All canceled their show at the festival due to their disbandment [1]. As of May 2013, however, the band is active again and will be touring Australia in November of that year with Boysetsfire, Off with Their Heads and Jughead's Revenge.
