Geboren in Nagoya, Präfektur Aichi. Die Nagoya University of Arts absolvierte die Designabteilung. 1989 trat er als Assistent für Malerei Shintaro Ishinomori in die Ishimori-Produktion ein. Er wurde Assistent des letzten Jahres von Ishinomori.
Nach dem Tod von Ishinomori überwacht und gestaltet er Ishinomori-bezogene Werke und schreibt Romane. In der Heisei Kamen Rider-Serie von "Masked Rider Agito" bis "Masked Rider Oz / OOO" diente er als Charakterdesign.
