Formed in 2014, 21g is a band that brings together three generations of Japanese rock. Led by green-masked frontman Geno, the alter-ego of everset vocalist Himura Tsuyoshi, the line-up features ex-SIAM SHADE bassist NATCHIN and "girls metal" guitar prodigy mi-ya.
The band's musical ethos is stubbornly old-school, eschewing synths and electronics in favour of a classic four-piece rock sound. Since their debut single Amaterasu sanka, all 21g's output has been self-released.
The band take their name from the supposed weight of the human soul, as claimed by Duncan MacDougall in 1907.
There is no schedule or ticket right now.
