Yuji Kubota (born on October 28, 1966) is a Japanese musician, lyricist and composer. From Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. He graduated from Hiroshima Prefectural Onomichi East High School. In 1985, he debuted as a vocalist of "THE EST".
After breaking up in 1991, he released numerous album singles as a solo singer. In 1992, he debuted as a solo artist as a single "I want to stare". Since then he has released eight solo albums, showing his energetic activities. He also performs live activities energetically. He also provides music to other musicians and singers as a lyricist.
