Kawamura Takahide was born in Kochi Prefecture in 1968.
He started tapping at the age of 15, moved up to Tokyo in 1986, and studied tap dance in full swing from Mr. Kuniharu Kato.
He belongs to JAM TAP DANCE COMPANY led by Mr. Kim, who has gained a stage experience and went to the USA in 1994.
While staying in the United States, studying with Mr. JIMMY SLYDE and learning jazz tap and tap ruding, he will appear in jazz live and event as a member of JIMMY FAMILY
It co-stars with teachers JIMMY SLYDE , BARRY HARRIS and many other masters in the jazz world, and is familiar with the nickname of TAKA SLYDE.
After returning to the country, he started activities with jazz musicians such as DOLLY BAKER , Yamamoto Tsuyoshi, Ichikawa Osamu etc. at many domestic jazz clubs.
