The 29th “International Organ Festival in Japan” 2019 will be held! This time, Dr. Ernst-Erich Stender, who is said to be Bucstehude's successor will be invited from Lübeck, Germany, You will enjoy everything from the world's best, authentic Bach's organ music, to the famous Beethoven songs not found in traditional organ songs, and the techniques for arranging Japanese songs.
Prof. Ernst Erich Stender (*1944) is one of the most successful contemporary solo organ virtuosi. He has presented various own interpretations of the complete works for organ by Dietrich Buxtehude and Johann Sebastian Bach and also regularly played the great works for organ by Olivier Messiaen and Max Reger at St. Mary’s Church.

Beethoven is widely recognized as the greatest, most famous and influential composer of many composers, musicians, and audiences. Among his masterpieces, there are the symphonies like Symphony No. 2 Re Chief, Symphony No. 3, Mi chief (Hero), Symphony No. 5 of the D minor (Fate) etc.
