Kyoichi Sato (born August 3, 1962) is a professional drummer. He was influenced by a local amateur band at the age of 11. When he was 15, his father bought a drum set for him and he started played in a band.
He won the first Grand Prix at the high school rock championship held in Oita Prefecture. At the age of 18, he set the goal of becoming a musician in earnest.
After that, he started activities as a professional drummer with Mr. Takumi Yonaga. Since then, he has worked with a number of artists, recordings of various genres.
