OE Kaoru is a Japanese violinist, born in 1994, from Sendai city. When 5-year-old, he started playing violin and used to study with Mr. Christian Tetzlaff. He received the 1st place in the 82nd Japan Music Competition in 2013, the Iwatani Prize (audience award), the Kuroyanagi Award, the Leukadia Prize, the Washimi Award, and the Masuzawa Prize for the most impressive performance throughout all departments.
