The Electro-Metalcore band "I Promised Once" has started their activities in September 2014.
Breaking down barriers between genres with their high quality sound & live performance, they have taken the scene by storm starting with their first single "Broken Dreams" which entered the Top 10 for best upcoming bands of 2014 at the major Rock Portal Site b"Geki Rock".
In February 2015 they worked with the producer the German band "Eskimo Callboy" (Winner of best newcomer at the Metal Hammer Awards) to release their first EP "New Blood" on February 4th 2015 which was accompanied by a sold out release event at the venue Shibuya THE GAME.
Showcasing their talent at big music festivals like Countdown Japan 2015/2016 and Design Festa, they also performed with many international bands like Palisades (US), Fail Emotions (RUS), To The Rats And Wolves (GER), GUYZ (KOR) during their Japan tours.
Among Japanese bands they shared a stage with ARTEMA, Hone Your Sense, Make My Day, Silhouette from the Skylit, Survive Said The Prophet, Sailing Before The Wind and many others.
In April 2016, they release their second EP "Dust To Dust" worldwide.
Not only was this release followed by a Japan tour, additionally the band embarked on their first European headliner tour which covered 6 countries and 12 venues.
In October 2016 the band will perform at the Saitama Super Arena on the main stage as part of the biggest metal and hardrock festival in Japan, LOUD PARK 16.
