Crane is a trio of "Tsurugashima Nishi Junior High School" classmates from Tsurugashima City, Saitama Prefecture. Each member had taken part in another band before they were active in a same band. When the bands of each other disbanded, they gathered and formed a crane in 2003.
The band name is decided immediately on Tsurugashima's initial "Tsuru". From the spring of the same year, the live performances were held in Shimokitazawa and Shinjuku, and it was a hot performance that involves audiences with the 70s fashion of Afro and Kimo shirt (named by Tsuru).
In 2018, they organized 15th Anniversary in March. ”-Tozai University Thanksgiving Day-” was held at Tokyo My Navi BLITZ Akasaka and Osaka Shinsaibashi BIGCAT. They decided to hold 47 prefecture tour in "15th Anniversary ALL TIME CLASSICS ~ 47 prefectures convention ~"
