iamSHUM's biography
Sven Väth (born 26 October 1964) is a German DJ/producer and three time DJ Awards winner whose career in electronic music spans well over 30 years. Sven Väth is a major proponent of vinyl, using only two decks and a mixer for his extensive DJ sets, his longest set having been 30 hours. He is recognized for cultivating the underground electronic music scene not just in Germany but in Ibiza as well, with his own night at Amnesia for fourteen years and after-parties at creative locations around the island.
He primarily produces and performs electro house music, but has diversified his genre and musical style, drawing influences from progressive house, dubstep, and classical music. Anton Zaslavski (born 2 September 1989), better known by his stage name Zedd, is a Russian-German record producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Zedd grew up and began his career in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
After leaving school, Van de Wall studied graphic design for a year before embarking on a career as a DJ/producer. Nick van de Wall (born 9 September 1987), better known by his stage name Afrojack, is a Dutch DJ, record producer and remixer from Spijkenisse.
