During the 80’s when the jazz movement was booming in London, Toshio Matsuura stepped into the scene. In the 90’s, he stayed active in the music field as a member of United Future Organization (U.F.O.) before moving onto his solo project. He went on to cover milestone songs with young musicians from England as a tribute. J.A.M is a piano trio of SOIL & "PIMP" SESSIONS. Group was named after taking their real name's first letter. They draw a modern jazz that passes through a filter of various genres such as hip hop, house, rock. They appeare as a demonicist in jazz and clubs in Tokyo and are working in parallel with SOIL.
