Yasuhiro Arai (born on December 5, 1956) is a Japanese actor and former child actor. He was born in Tokyo, raised in Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture from early childhood. From 1974 to 1982 he was active as a member of the idle group. He began his acting career since he was a child and appeared in several dramas.
After that, he worked as a member of the idle group, and served as a leader from 1977 when Takao Yamada withdrew.
He officially debuted in 1977 with "Group of Shores". They showed calm performance without gag and concentrate on actor business after group dissolution.
