SABBRABELLS is a Japanese heavy metal band formed in the early 1980s and disbanded in 1987. They are strongly influenced by Black Sabbath since their formation, but their costumes and lyrics reminiscent of the devil, and their songs were strong and dramatic heavy metal line creating an era of indies.
In live performances, their occult images have had a great impact on later generation bands, with black-based costumes, ribs and candles, a cross, and a magician appearing in the opening.
They made a major debut from King Records in 1986 with many evaluations such as "The King of Meguro Shikankan", "The Last Big Hits of the Indies", "The King of Live", but when the three albums released the band split.
They reunited in early 2015 and performed for the first time in 28 years with Outrage, Double Dealer, and Anthem in July to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Anthem's first album. The band used vocalist Dioken of Re-Arise, though he never became their permanent vocalist.
In 2018 the band announced they would be playing 3 reunion shows with original singer Kiichi Takahashi. After the conclusion of the small tour Sabbrabells disbanded again.
