Matsumoto Ran (Matsumoto Ran, September 15, 1983 -) is a Japanese violinist from Saitama prefecture.
She graduated from Toho Gakuen University Music College and completed the same course.
After graduating from Toho Gakuen University Music College, she completed the Graduate School of the University. She studied chamber music with Mr. Koichiro Harada and Kazuaki Fujii.
In 1998, Matsumoto Ran participated in Japan-Russia international cultural exchange and played at Vladivostok. She won the first prize at the 6th Osaka International Music Competition and a number of competitions.
Matsumoto Ran participated as a scholarship student at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in 2004, PMF in 2003, and received guidance from Hightink, Gergiev, Eschenbach and others.
She also participated in the 9th - 14th Miyazaki International Music Festival, 05, 09 Regional Creation Public Hall Music Revitalization Project and outreach workshops for young artists.
Matsumoto Ran was also incollaboration with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra at Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall in December 2007. In October 2008, we attended to perform "Real Performing Arts Appreciation Session" performances of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' s real performing arts.
After working at "Takashima Chiko 12 violinists", she debuted solo CD at the album "Raning" (Warner Music · Japan) in August 2009.
In the 41st Mistake Miss Japan Grand Prix decision contest, Miss Japan "Miss Kimono" was awarded to Matsumoto Ran.
