Yuki Miura (born December 9, 1975), professional known as Bird, is a singer-songwriter from Kyoto Prefecture. She signed with Sony Music Artist and begin her music career in 1999. The stage name Bird was named for the fact that her singing voice like a bird. She graduated sociology department of Kansai University.
After singing in jazz club Shinichi Osawa in Osaka, she released the mini-album"THE RHYME ANIMAL REMIX EP1". On 1999 March 20, she made her debut with the single "SOULS". The debut album 'Bird ' was released in July the same year, selling 700,000 copies and she won the Japan Gold Awards Newcomer Award. In March 2002, she became independent from RealEyes label. Since then, she has been a talented composer and producer.
