Kodama Kazumasa (born on January 29, 1955 ) is a trumpet player from Fukui city, Fukui Prefecture.
In September 1982, he formed MUTE BEAT, Japan's first dub band to play dubs live. They announced 7 total albums. He began solo activities since 1990. From the 1st solo album "QUIET REGGAE" to "A SILENT PRAYER" released in 2003, he released eight albums including movie music and the best album. "IN THE STUDIO" as "KODAMA AND THE DUB STATION BAND" in 2005 and "MORE" in 2006. In activities as a producer, know on FISHMANS 1st album "Chappy Do not Cry" etc. There are also a lot of co-starring and co-composing with domestic and foreign artists such as DJ KRUSH, UA, EGO-WRAPPIN ', LEE PERRY, RICO RODRIGUES.
