Fukuda Kohei (born on September 21, 1976) is an enka singer from Iwate-gun, Iwate Prefecture. He lives in Morioka.
He began to learn folk songs from the age of 23 and won numerous competitions such as winning the Grand Prix at the 25th Japan Folk Song Festival in June 2012. He had been working at a kimono store but made a single debut in October 2012 from King Records with "Nanbu Shigure". The song was No. 1 on the Oricon Enka chart. He scored 8th in the overall chart. He has his first appearance in 2013 64th NHK Kodo Suka Battle and got 55th Japan Record Award Newcomer Award.
In 2014, he announced the second single "峠 beyond" and it recorded the 6th place of Oricon's first self-best appearance. In addition, the number of weekly sales was higher than "Nanbu Shigure" and recorded his highest.
