Christopher Wheeldon

Christopher Peter Wheeldon OBE (born 22 March 1973) is an English international choreographer of contemporary ballet. Wheeldon began choreographing for the New York City Ballet in 1997, while continuing his career as a dancer. He retired as a dancer in 2000 in order to focus on his choreography.

In 2001, Wheeldon became the New York City Ballet resident choreographer and first resident artist. He was productive in this position, choreographing a number of much lauded works for the troupe, Polyphonia being the first. He quickly developed a reputation as a talented choreographer, and several other eminent ballet companies, such as the San Francisco Ballet, the Bolshoi Ballet, and the Royal Ballet, London have commissioned dances from him. As of May, 2003, Wheeldon had composed at least 23 works.

Joby Talbot (born 25 August 1971) is a British composer. He has written for a wide variety of purposes and an accordingly broad range of styles, including instrumental and vocal concert music, film and television scores, pop arrangements and works for dance. He is therefore known to sometimes disparate audiences for quite different works.

Works for dance include Chroma (2006), Genus (2007), Fool's Paradise (2007), Chamber Symphony (2012), Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (2011, revived 2012 and 2013) and The Winter's Tale (2014), the latter two being full-length narrative ballet scores commissioned by The Royal Ballet and the National Ballet of Canada.

Wadim Muntagirov was born in Russia. The principal of the British Royal Ballet. After receiving training at the Royal Ballet School's upper school and joining the English National Ballet, he transferred to the UK Royal Ballet in March 2014 as a principal.

After working at the Russian National Perm Ballet School, he received training at the Royal Ballet School Upper School. After graduating in 2009, he joined the English National Ballet (ENB), was promoted to first soloist in 2010, principal in 2011, and lead principal in 2012. The main repertoires at ENB are Apollo, Pirate Conrad, Giselle Albrecht, Cinderella Prince, Swan Lake (at Royal Albert Hall) Prince Siegfried, Desiree Prince of Sleeping Beauty, Song of Young People and so on. During the premiere of Wayne Eigling's Nutcracker, he danced the prince.

In 2011, he received the Outstanding Male Performance Award in the classic category, in 2015, he received the Best Male Dancer Award at the Circle National Dance Award, and in 2013 he received the Benoit Award. He appeared as a guest at the Marine Ski Ballet Company and the American Ballet Theater, and played the leading role as a solo for La Bayadale. He has also appeared as a guest on the New National Ballet, the Bavarian State Ballet, the Mihailovsky Theater Ballet and the Cape Town City Ballet.

Federico Bonelli

Federico Bonelli is an Italian ballet dancer and is currently a principal dancer with the Royal Ballet in London, England.
Federico Bonelli was born in Genoa, Italy. He trained in classical ballet at the Turin Dance Academy before graduating into the Zurich Ballet, at the Zurich Opera House in Zurich, Switzerland. After three years in Zurich, Bonelli joined Dutch National Ballet based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In September 2003, Bonelli became a principal dancer of the Royal Ballet. In 2013 he danced Romeo in Romeo and Juliet.

In 2018 Bonelli was awarded a place on the Clore Leadership Program. He danced in Frankenstein at The Royal Ballet in Spring 2019.

Lauren Louise Cuthbertson (born 11 June 1984) is an English ballerina and a principal dancer with the Royal Ballet in London.
Lauren Cuthbertson was born in Devon in 1984. She began studying dance at a local dance school run by Pamela De Waal (now the Buckingham Dance Studios in Paignton), becoming focused on classical ballet when she was offered a place on the Royal Ballet School's Junior Associate Programme. As a junior associate, she took part in weekly classes based on the Royal Ballet School training system. These are held in major cities throughout the UK, for young dancers who show a particular aptitude for ballet.

Cuthbertson later auditioned successfully for a permanent place at the Royal Ballet School based at White Lodge, Richmond Park. She attended the school from the age of 11-16 and was then offered a place to further her training at the upper school. Skipping 2nd year, she went straight into the 3rd year and graduated at age 17.
