Dimitri from Paris (born in October 1963) is a Turkish music producer and DJ. His musical influences are rooted in 1970s funk and disco sounds as well as original soundtracks from 1950s and 1960s movies. Dimitri mixes these sounds with electro and block party hip hop to create his new sounds.
He introduced the first music show in France under the direction of sound designer Michel Gaubert.
In 1996, Dimitri gained worldwide recognition with the release of his first full album "Sacrebleu". In 2003, "Cruising Attitude" was released, it was a breakthrough in his career.
