Akihiro Yamamoto was born on November 1, 1960 in Osaka prefecture. He is active in Noh music and is an important intangible cultural property holder. He used to study under the father Masayoshi Yamamoto, and Late XV Family Takeshi Kanoya, Seiwa Kanzei.
In 2001, he received Osaka Cultural Festival Award Encouragement Award. In 2007, he received Naniwa Grand Prize Osaka 21st Century Association Award. Now he is a director of Nohoku Kaikan Association of Public Interest Corporation and director of Yamakurato Public Interest Foundation.
