It begins in 2002 in commemoration of Walt Disney's 100th anniversary, and it is held every year from 2004 throughout the country. These tour-style Disney classic concerts are the first in the world. There are times when Mickey Mouse will appear on the final day. Each theme is basically taken from Disney movie songs.

Born on March 31, 1685 (N.S.), in Eisenach, Thuringia, Germany, Johann Sebastian Bach had a prestigious musical lineage and took on various organist positions during the early 18th century, creating famous compositions like "Toccata and Fugue in D minor." Some of his best-known compositions are the "Mass in B Minor," the "Brandenburg Concertos" and "The Well-Tempered Clavier." Bach died in Leipzig, Germany, on July 28, 1750. Today, he is considered one of the greatest Western composers of all time.
Childhood

Born in Eisenach, Thuringia, Germany, on March 31, 1685 (N.S.) / March 21, 1685 (O.S.), Johann Sebastian Bach came from a family of musicians, stretching back several generations. His father, Johann Ambrosius, worked as the town musician in Eisenach, and it is believed that he taught young Johann to play the violin.

At the age of seven, Bach went to school where he received religious instruction and studied Latin and other subjects. His Lutheran faith would influence his later musical works. By the time he turned 10, Bach found himself an orphan after the death of both of his parents. His older brother Johann Christoph, a church organist in Ohrdruf, took him in. Johann Christoph provided some further musical instruction for his younger brother and enrolled him in a local school. Bach stayed with his brother's family until he was 15.

Bach had a beautiful soprano singing voice, which helped him land a place at a school in Lüneburg. Sometime after his arrival, his voice changed and Bach switched to playing the violin and the harpsichord. Bach was greatly influenced by a local organist named George Böhm. In 1703, he landed his first job as a musician at the court of Duke Johann Ernst in Weimar. There he was a jack-of-all-trades, serving as a violinist and at times, filling in for the official organist.

Early Career

Bach had a growing reputation as a great performer, and it was his great technical skill that landed him the position of organist at the New Church in Arnstadt. He was responsible for providing music for religious services and special events as well as giving music instruction. An independent and sometimes arrogant young man, Bach did not get along well with his students and was scolded by church officials for not rehearsing them frequently enough.

Bach did not help his situation when he disappeared for several months in 1705. While he only officially received a few weeks' leave from the church, he traveled to Lübeck to hear famed organist Dietrich Buxtehude and extended his stay without informing anyone back in Arnstadt.

In 1707, Bach was glad to leave Arnstadt for an organist position at the Church of St. Blaise in Mühlhausen. This move, however, did not turn out as well as he had planned. Bach's musical style clashed with the church's pastor. Bach created complex arrangements and had a fondness for weaving together different melodic lines. His pastor believed that church music needed to be simple. One of Bach's most famous works from this time is the cantata "Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit," also known as "Actus Tragicus."

Working for Royalty

After a year in Mühlhausen, Bach won the post of organist at the court of the Duke Wilhelm Ernst in Weimar. He wrote many church cantatas and some of his best compositions for the organ while working for the duke. During his time at Weimar, Bach wrote "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor," one of his most popular pieces for the organ. He also composed the cantata "Herz und Mund und Tat," or Heart and Mouth and Deed. One section of this cantata, called "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" in English, is especially famous.

In 1717, Bach accepted a position with Prince Leopold of Anhalt-Cöthen. But Duke Wilhelm Ernst had no interest in letting Bach go and even imprisoned him for several weeks when he tried to leave. In early December, Bach was released and allowed to go to Cöthen. Prince Leopold had a passion for music. He played the violin and often bought musical scores while traveling abroad.

While at Cöthen, Bach devoted much of his time to instrumental music, composing concertos for orchestras, dance suites and sonatas for multiple instruments. He also wrote pieces for solo instruments, including some of his finest violin works. His secular compositions still reflected his deep commitment to his faith with Bach often writing the initials I.N.J. for the Latin In Nomine Jesu, or "in the name of Jesus," on his sheet music.

In tribute to the Duke of Brandenburg, Bach created a series of orchestra concertos, which became known as the "Brandenburg Concertos," in 1721. These concertos are considered to be some of Bach's greatest works. That same year, Prince Leopold got married, and his new bride discouraged the prince's interest in music. Bach completed the first book of "The Well-Tempered Clavier" around this time. With students in mind, he put together this collection of keyboard pieces to help them learn certain techniques and methods. Bach had to turn his attentions to finding work when the prince dissolved his orchestra in 1723.
Later Works in Leipzig

After auditioning for a new position in Leipzig, Bach signed a contract to become the new organist and teacher at St. Thomas Church. He was required to teach at the Thomas School as a part of his position as well. With new music needed for services each week, Bach threw himself into writing cantatas. The "Christmas Oratorio," for example, is a series of six cantatas that reflect on the holiday.

Bach also created musical interpretations of the Bible using choruses, arias and recitatives. These works are referred to as his "Passions," the most famous of which is "Passion According to St. Matthew." This musical composition, written in 1727 or 1729, tells the story of chapters 26 and 27 of the Gospel of Matthew. The piece was performed as part of a Good Friday service.

One of his later religious masterworks is "Mass in B minor." He had developed sections of it, known as Kyrie and Gloria, in 1733, which were presented to the Elector of Saxony. Bach did not finish the composition, a musical version of a traditional Latin mass, until 1749. The complete work was not performed during his lifetime.

Final Years

By 1740, Bach was struggling with his eyesight, but he continued to work despite his vision problems. He was even well enough to travel and perform, visiting Frederick the Great, the king of Prussia in 1747. He played for the king, making up a new composition on the spot. Back in Leipzig, Bach refined the piece and gave Frederick a set of fugues called "Musical Offering."

In 1749, Bach started a new composition called "The Art of Fugue," but he did not complete it. He tried to fix his failing sight by having surgery the following year, but the operation ended up leaving him completely blind. Later that year, Bach suffered a stroke. He died in Leipzig on July 28, 1750.

During his lifetime, Bach was better known as an organist than a composer. Few of his works were even published during his lifetime. Still Bach's musical compositions were admired by those who followed in his footsteps, including Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven. His reputation received a substantial boost in 1829 when German composer Felix Mendelssohn reintroduced Bach's "Passion According to St. Matthew."

Musically, Bach was a master at invoking and maintaining different emotions. He was an expert storyteller as well, often using melody to suggest actions or events. In his works, Bach drew from different music styles from across Europe, including French and Italian. He used counterpoint, the playing of multiple melodies simultaneously, and fugue, the repetition of a melody with slight variations, to create richly detailed compositions. He is considered to be the best composer of the Baroque era, and one of the most important figures in classical music in general.

Personal Life

Little personal correspondence has survived to provide a full picture of Bach as a person. But the records do shed some light on his character. Bach was devoted to his family. In 1706, he married his cousin Maria Barbara Bach. The couple had seven children together, some of whom died as infants. Maria died in 1720 while Bach was traveling with Prince Leopold. The following year, Bach married a singer named Anna Magdalena Wülcken. They had thirteen children, more than half of them died as children.

Bach clearly shared his love of music with his children. From his first marriage, Wilhelm Friedemann Bach and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach became composers and musicians. Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach and Johann Christian Bach, sons from his second marriage, also enjoyed musical success.

Ikuyo Nakamichi's Piano recital

Ikuyo Nakamichi, who made her debut in Japan and Europe in 1987, is one of the most outstanding and sought-after pianists in Japan.

Nakamichi has given many recitals in Japan, including the series of five concerts titled “Ikuyo Nakamichi’s New World” in 1992; the Bach-Beethoven-Brahms series held over a five-year period from 1994 at Casals Hall in Tokyo; and the “Complete Beethoven Piano Sonatas,” held over a four-year period from 1997 at Philia Hall in Yokohama and at Kobe Gakuin University. Each of these series has earned Nakamichi high praise for her earnest attitude towards the works and for her superior musicality. She has also earned acclaim for her concerts at Suntory Hall, which have become an annual tradition.

She has also earned high praise for her Mozart and Chopin projects. Her concert series of Complete Mozart Piano Sonatas received widespread attention. Her CDs “Complete Mozart Sonatas” were selected as specially recommended recordings in the November 2013 issue of “Record Arts,” and praised as “the definitive recordings of Mozart performed on the contemporary piano.” Chopin is a composer whose works Nakamichi has always engaged with. In particular, her project “Chopin Keyboard Mysteries,” depicting the composer’s life through images and stories, has won favorable recognition.

A socially conscious musician, Nakamichi serves as the Music Director and Supervisor of a forum held cooperatively with concert halls across the country, “The future that music opens”; and in March 2018 she presented the “1st Ikuyo Nakamichi Piano Festival” at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.

Since 2003, with the aim of activating regional communities and expanding musical culture, Nakamichi has been working in her roles as special instructor at Osaka College of Music and director of the Japan Foundation for Regional Art-Activities. Since 2012 she has also been active as a professor at Toho Gakuen School of Music(Toho Gakuen College Music Department）.

Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra

The Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra (Gewandhausorchester; also previously known in German as the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig) is a German symphony orchestra based in Leipzig, Germany. The orchestra is named after the concert hall in which it is based, the Gewandhaus ("Garment House"). In addition to its concert duties, the orchestra also performs frequently in the Thomaskirche and as the official opera orchestra of the Leipzig Opera.
The orchestra's origins can be traced to 1743, when a society called the Grosses Concert began performing in private homes. In 1744 the Grosses Concert moved its concerts to the "Three Swans" Tavern. Their concerts continued at this venue for 36 years, until 1781. In 1780, because of complaints about concert conditions and audience behavior in the tavern, the mayor and city council of Leipzig offered to renovate one story of the Gewandhaus (the building used by textile merchants) for the orchestra's use. The motto Res severa est verum gaudium ("only a serious thing is a true joy", or "true joy is a serious thing" – from the Roman author Seneca) was painted in the hall, suggesting the priorities of the sponsors. The orchestra gave its first concert in the Gewandhaus in 1781. The orchestra thus has a good claim to being the oldest continuing orchestra in Germany founded by the bourgeoisie, while older orchestras were part of royal suites.

In 1835, Felix Mendelssohn became the orchestra's music director, with the traditional title of Gewandhauskapellmeister, and held the post until his death in 1847. Several other musicians shared the duties with Mendelssohn during his tenure, including Ferdinand David, Ferdinand Hiller, and Niels Gade. In 1885, the orchestra moved into a new hall. This was destroyed by bombing in 1944. The present Gewandhaus is the third building with the name. It was opened in 1981. The large organ in the hall bears the original Gewandhaus hall's motto "Res severa verum gaudium" .

Later principal conductors included Arthur Nikisch, Wilhelm Furtwängler, Bruno Walter, and Václav Neumann. From 1970 to 1996, Kurt Masur was Gewandhauskapellmeister, and he and the orchestra made a number of recordings for the Philips label. From 1998 to 2005, Herbert Blomstedt held the same position, and they in turn made several recordings for the Decca label. Blomstedt currently holds the title of conductor laureate with the orchestra, while Masur held the post jointly with Blomstedt until his death in 2015.

The Philharmonia Orchestra is a British orchestra based in London. It was founded in 1945 by Walter Legge, a classical music record producer for EMI. Among the conductors who worked with the orchestra in its early years were Richard Strauss, Wilhelm Furtwängler and Arturo Toscanini; of the Philharmonia's younger conductors, the most important to its development was Herbert von Karajan, who though never formally chief conductor was closely associated with the orchestra in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The Philharmonia became widely regarded as the finest of London's five symphony orchestras in its first two decades.

From the late 1950s to the early 1970s the orchestra's chief conductor was Otto Klemperer, with whom the orchestra gave many concerts and made numerous recordings of the core orchestral repertoire. During Klemperer's tenure Legge, citing the difficulty of maintaining the orchestra's high standards, attempted to disband it in 1964, but the players, backed by Klemperer, formed themselves into a self-governing ensemble as the New Philharmonia Orchestra. After thirteen years under this title, they negotiated the rights to revert to the original name.

In Klemperer's last years the orchestra suffered a decline, both financial and artistic, but recovered under his successor, Riccardo Muti, who revitalised the orchestra in his ten-year term, 1972–1982. The orchestra's standards remained high throughout the controversial chief conductorship of Giuseppe Sinopoli from 1984 to 1994, and the more orthodox tenure of Christoph von Dohnányi between 1997 and 2008. Esa-Pekka Salonen, principal conductor since 2008, is due to serve until 2021.

The Philharmonia has had many celebrated players in its ranks and has commissioned more than 100 compositions. It gives more than 160 concerts a year, tours widely, and from its inception has been known for its many recordings.
The name "Philharmonia" was adopted by the impresario and recording producer Walter Legge for a string quartet he brought together in 1941, comprising Henry Holst, Jean Pougnet, Frederick Riddle and Anthony Pini. The name was taken from the title page of the published score Legge used for the first work they recorded.[1][n 1] Temporarily augmented to a septet, the ensemble gave its first concert in the Wigmore Hall, the main item being Ravel's Introduction and Allegro.[3] With several changes of personnel the quartet continued to play in concert and in the recording studio during the Second World War. In 1942 the editor of The Gramophone, Compton Mackenzie, wrote that he had no hesitation in calling the Philharmonia the best string quartet in the country.

The Tokyo Geidai Philharmonia is the symphony orchestra of the Department of Orchestra Research at the Tokyo University of Arts. Known as Gei-Phil, the orchestra has its origins in the early twentieth century, and used to be known as Tokyo Music School Orchestra in the pre-war period. It gave the Japanese première of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony in 1918. The orchestra is formed mainly of graduates (soloists, professors and part-time lecturers) from the department of instrumental music. The orchestra hosts regular concerts at the new Sogakudo Concert Hall at the Tokyo Ueno Campus, which include works by students of the department of composition.

Members of the orchestra (research staff) are chosen from the Faculty of Music or instructors of the Arts Center of Performing Arts or part-time lecturers, so if you are employed from outside the current position the status will be a instructor or a part-time instructor.

Yoshinobu Hara studied guitar with Okuda Tadamasa, KH Bettner and Sasaki Tadashi.
Received the 1972 Japan Guitarist Association Newcomer Award (currently Classical Guitar Competition).
In 1973, the music for Shiho Iwashita's LP "Sings of Malay Maiden Manian" is composed and played on one guitar, released from TRIO RECORDS. In the same year, after studying for a debut at Tokyo Daiichi Seimei Hall, studied abroad in Germany.
In 1976, he graduated from the Cologne National University of Music in Germany and became a national musician and became a full-time lecturer at the Bremen Academy of Music (now university).
Returning to Japan in 1979, he performs extensively in various parts of Japan as well as in Europe such as Germany and Hungary.
Participated in the Weikersheim International Music Festival in Germany, which took place every other year from 2001 to 2009 as a lecturer. He has been a part-time lecturer of the Nihon University of the Arts Faculty of Music, Kumamoto University of the Faculty of Music, Senzoku Gakuen College of Music Strings Course, and a professor of Classical Guitar Course of the Senzoku Gakuen College of Music 2008-2016.
He has performed recitals at major halls in and around Tokyo including the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Small Hall, Suntory Hall (Small Hall), Hamarikyu Asahi Hall, Ginza Yamaha Hall, Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall Small Hall and so on.
In addition, ALM RECORDS has released CDs of 13 styles including guitar solo, guitar duo, guitar quartet, flute with violin and violin.

THE BEETHOVEN 6th Anniversary

THE BEETHOVEN is a visual rock band in Japan formed in 2013. They belong to Timely record. Members:
four experienced Japanese musicians: MAKOTO (ex-Doremidan), Fukusuke (ex-metronome), Naoki (Jinkaku Radio) and YURA-sama (Dacco, ex-Psycho le Cemu).
On May 31st, 2013, a one-man live show was performed in commemoration of the formation of the band at Shibuya O-WEST (now TSUTAYA O-WEST).
On November 28, 2014, their participation of Gt Minemura Akinori was announced at The Greatest Party 1128.

Tokyo City Phil Music 325th Concert: Kentaro Kawase & Tamura Hibiki Allshostakovich Program

Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra (Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra) is a Japanese professional orchestra. The abbreviation is Tokyo City Phil or City Phil. A member of the Japan Orchestra Federation. They had regular concerts at Tiara Kotori, Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall and special concerts at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan.
In 1975,Tokyo City Phil operated as a voluntary orchestra established by young talented players, mainly by conductor Toshi Tsutsumi. In the same year they performed the European performance including the opening concert of the Belgrade music festival, the Hong Kong - Macao performance..

Tokyo City Phil holds more than 100 performances a year range from regular concerts and special concerts to opera / ballet performances, pop music concerts, movie music, TV appearances, CD recordings and music appreciation classes. Especially on television, it shows its fresh and charming performances through TV Asahi "Nobody Kaku Kara 21" and it has gained popularity all over Japan.

FORESTA (Foresta) is a Japanese chorus group formed in 2003. All members graduated from the University of music, and they continue to work on the theme songs that are fascinating with Japanese culture.
Currently, they appear regularly at " BS Japan Kokoro no Uta" (every Monday from 19:00 to 19:54) and has a wide range of fans throughout the country. The band not only sing songs but also perform the warmth and pleasant stages that represent their personality. Finally, they becomes a major debut group , a skill group who fills about 100 hall concerts each year.
Four original female members were selected in the 2006 audition consisting of Chiaki Nakayasu, Yuko Ogasawara, Sawako Shiraishi and Satoko Yano.
In 2007, Akiba Hiroshi left and Shoin Kawamura joined. One year later, Shimura Satoshi and Yoshida Tomoaki withdrew and Kaoru Sawada joined. Yoshida Shizu joined the 2009 as female voice member.
Yuko Ogasawara who had been inactive for about two years in 2014 returned on May 29th. In 2018 female voice members Chiaki Nakaya, Yoshida Shizu announced a suspension of activity.

All the members of Foresta have graduated from the university, and they are a group of very sincere musicians who put dreams in their songs. Under the theme of singing and inheriting Japan's wonderful culture, they are constantly researching for new music.

He is from the vocal arts department of the Tokyo University of the Arts Faculty of Music, and is a pioneer of the classical cross over. We have started charity concerts since 1996, and since 2002 we have continued environmental charity concerts on the theme of "Chinmori no Mori" and "Children".
Performed at “NHK Kayo Charity Concert” and “Tetsuko's Room” etc., “The 61st National Tree Planting Festival” sings Kimigayo in front of His Majesty the Emperor.
He has been active overseas as he sings Indian songs in Hindi at the economic summit of India.
The original song "What I can do" is adopted in the fifth grade elementary school music textbook.

Vienna Boys Choir

The Vienna Boys' Choir (German: Wiener Sängerknaben) or Vienna Choir Boys is a choir of boy sopranos and altos based in Vienna, Austria. It is one of the best-known boys' choirs in the world. The boys are selected mainly from Austria, but also from many other countries.

The choir is a private, not-for-profit organization. There are approximately 100 choristers between the ages of nine and fourteen. The boys are divided into four touring choirs, named after Austrian composers Bruckner, Haydn, Mozart and Schubert, which combined perform about 300 concerts each year before almost 500,000 people. Each group tours for about nine to eleven weeks. Some pieces include "Good Morning" and "Merry Christmas from Vienna Boys".

The choir is the modern-day descendant of the boys' choirs of the Viennese Court, dating back to the late Middle Ages. The choir was, for practical purposes, established by a letter from Emperor Maximilian I of Habsburg on 30 June 1498, instructing court officials to employ a singing master, two basses and six boys. Jurij Slatkonja became the director of the ensemble. The role of the choir (numbering between 24 and 26) was to provide musical accompaniment for the church mass. Additionally, the Haydn brothers were members of the St. Stephen's Cathedral choir, directed at the time by Georg Reutter II, who used this choir in his duties for the imperial court, which at the time had no boy choristers of its own.

Over the centuries, the choir has worked with many composers, including Heinrich Isaac, Hofhaimer, Biber, Fux, Caldara, Gluck, Salieri, Mozart, Franz Schubert, and Bruckner.

In 1920, following the fall of the Austrian Empire, the Hofkapelle (court orchestra) was disbanded. However, the rector at the time, Josef Schnitt, sought a continuation of the tradition. In 1924, the Vienna Boys' Choir was officially founded, and it has evolved into a professional music group. The choir adopted the now-famous blue and white sailor suit, replacing the imperial military cadet uniform that included a dagger. The composer HK Gruber is one of the graduates of the reformed choir.

It is this Shimane - the spiritual, traditional, mythical and hidden Shimane that we introduce to you. Join us on a pilgrimage route of shrines and temples, on a discovery tour of shrines and mythology, on a visit to the World Heritage site Iwami Ginzan, and on a train ride through the spectacular landscapes of the province of the Gods.

Regular concert may refer to

Collegium Cantorum YOKOHAMA (CCY) is known as a mixed choir based in Yokohama, Japan. Collegium Cantorum YOKOHAMA was formed on March 4, 2002, aiming for highly artistically recognized music. Originally it was based in Yokohama but has been active mainly in Tokyo in recent years. Koji Matsushita, who works as a music director and regular conductor, as a composer and conductor at home and abroad, Haruka Sae as a regular conductor, and Aiko Saito as voice trainer, hold regular concerts every year. They actively expand the scope of activities such as the chorus festival and the contest.

In May 2006, they participated in the Vaasa Chorus Festival held in Finland and was well received.
In February 2012, they won the second place in the mixed classical and contemporary music category at the Tokyo Spring Chorus Contest.
In March 2012, they won the first place for mixed voice in the folklore category at the Tokyo Spring Chorus Contest. They received first place in the room choir category at the 3rd Krakow Advent & Christmas Choir Festival held in Poland in December 2012.
In March 2013, they won the first prize for mixed music in the religious music section at the Tokyo Spring Chorus Contest, and received the “Harukan Grand Prix” awarded to the best group in all categories.
In 2013, the choir won first place in the mixed choir category at International Poliphonic Competition "Guido d'Arezzo" (Italy).
In July 2016, they performed an invitation to the Arti Vocal Ensemble Festival 2016, held in Kyoto, and was well received.
In September 2017, they had performances at the Karuizawa International Chorus Festival.

Name of Performance: Ex-Novo Chamber Choir Concert vol. Alessandro Scarlatti, who was the main figure of Neapolitan baroque music from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. Currently, there are not many opportunities to play the religious music of Scarlatti, but I have also left great works in the oratorio and liturgical music.
