Tamaki Ohtani was born in 1953.
After studying with Composer Akihiro Sugawara, he studied abroad in Madrid in 1978. In addition to studying with José Luis Rodrigo, chief professor of the Royal Academy of Music at the Royal Academy of Music of Spain, he got guidance from Andrés Segovia, Oscar Gillia and others. He used to performed at various places in Europe, including Andrés Segovia Memorial Hall concert.
After returning to Japan in 1986, in addition to recital, he performs an ensemble with various instruments. In 1994 he had a concert in Armenia.
In 1999 he performed vigorous performances such as "Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra" and "Aranjuez Concerto". He had solo album "mono mono" "bird song" on CD, and "La Tierra" (publication of same name titles) with duet with Etsuko Nishimoto.
In 2001 Tamaki Ohtani original music collection was published by G & M company. 2002 "simple method for guitar" (G & M company), 2003 guitar solo "original arrangement collection" (G & M company) announced.
