Kelly Simonz (real name: Kazuhiro Shimazu, July 1, 1970) is a guitarist, singer-songwriter, guitar instructor from Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Height 178 cm, weight 74 kg, blood type O type, nickname is kaz.
Kelly Simonz began the guitar in the second year of junior high school and started band activities as a high school student. He is selected as the undercard of LOUDNESS at the age of 17.
After graduating from high school he went to the United States and entered the musicians institute. After graduation he started band activities, but also returned to his home country in 1994.
In 1998, he made his debut with his own production album "Sign Of The Times".
