THEATER BROOK is a Japanese funk rock band. A band that plays spiritual and large rock with a sound that incorporates all sorts of black music elements such as funk, hip hop and rock. Taiji Sato says, “Roots rock that can be funky and danced by adults with songs. That is Theater Brook”.
Theatre Brook made its début in 1986. The band's current line-up are: Taiji Sato (vocals & electric guitar), Takashi Nakajo (bass), Takashi Numazawa (drums), and Emerson Kitamura (keyboard). They have been signed with Epic Records since 1995. They are known for performing the first OP of the 2010 Anime Durarara, Uragiri no Yuuyake.
