MONO is a poster rock / instrumental rock band of four people in Tokyo formed in 1999. Their musical style is combined of orchestra and shoegazer , guitar noise. In live performances, they also went on a special show at 23 organizations following New York, Tokyo, London, Melbourne in 2009.
About 150 world tours each year, they have been one of the bands that has won the most audience in the world as a Japanese band over 55 countries so far. Among rock music it is a critic and one of the best live bands who has received a lot of fame.
While releasing 10 albums including a live album with the orchestra at NY and continuing to earn a high reputation both at home and abroad 2015, the short film "Where We Begin" created by collaboration received California's international Awarded the Best Musical Score Award "The Marshall Hawkins Awards: Best Musical Score - Featurette" from the film festival Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema.

Over there, he intensifies his work as a multimedia artist (installations, films, artbooks…), before spreading his message through cinema and literature. Today, Julien works as a writer and a director. His work still adopts a do-it-yourself and highly independent method, deeply rooted in radical subcultures. Julien Levy now shares his time between Tokyo and Paris.
