Masanori Ito (his real name is Masanori , July 10, 1953) is a Japanese music critic. Editorial adviser of heavy metal specialty magazine " BURRN! " There are exchanges with numerous worldwide bands such as Iron Maiden , Bon Jovi , Metallica , Aero Smith, etc. Masanori Ito has been familiar with the nickname " Masa-Ito " (derived from real name). He has been known not only for heavy metal but also familiar with the British rock overall and progressive rock since the 1960s.

He is from Hanamaki City , Iwate Prefecture. Although he was a radio fan and a rock fan since childhood, in 1970, the shock when deep purple 's " black knight " was on air to the 1st piece of " Saito Yasuhiro's All Night Nippon". He said that he was deeply impatient. First concert tour in Hakone, Pink Floyd in the summer of 1971 was the first rock concert experience.
