Kaneko Atsushi (born December 26, 1966) is a Japanese cartoonist, illustrator and designer. He was born in Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture. He graduated from Senshu University School of Economics (Department of Economics).
In 1988, he wrote "Hayuyukuku" but it was not successful. Next work 'Ratty gets new way' gets a honorable mention for 'Big comic spirits' newcomer prize. In 1990, the afternoon four seasons prize winter qualified winner. With its unique touch with a brush pen, he has worked extensively in designing CD jackets, mainly in cartoons, work on illustrations, and more.
