Chitaru Sudo is a pianist from Yokohama city. She graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music School of Music. She belongs to Yamaha Music Entertainment Holdings. She is interested in the piano when she was learning by former J Brother's brother, Daisuke Sudo, and starting the piano from the age of 6. In 2007 she performed solo concerts regularly as a "Pygmalion Days" at Nexus Hall for one year and attracted attention.

In 2001, while attending the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, she was awarded the "Ariadne Musika Award" and received a scholarship from the Date Memorial Foundation, and she collaborated with Keihodo Philharmonia at the Gakudo Morning Concert.

She also received the 4th Gina Backhaul International Piano Competition (USA) prize. After 2000, she took Master class of Mr. Pascal · Da Voyon at the Courchevel Summer International Music Academy (France) for 3 years and appeared in the final concert every year. After graduating from the Institute of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, she studied at the German National Berlin Music University as a German government student student. She studied under Michael Endless, graduated with the highest point, acquired a diploma.

She won the top prize at many International Competitions such as the 4th Sailor International Piano Competition (Germany), the 3rd Berlin Piano Competition (Germany) and the ASTI International Music Competition No. 2 (Italy). Recitaling in Leipzig, Germany, appearing in "French music evening" and "20th century sonata series" in Berlin, she is active in solo and chamber music actively at home and abroad.
