Nobuko Miyashita completed the Musical School of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and the master's course of graduate school. She won the Yasu Award while she was in college. She studied abroad at the Cologne Music University as an overseas trainee of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, graduating with the best.
She was the first selection by Maurice Andre International Competition and Ensemble Division. She got third place at the 49th daily music competition brass instrument category.
Since going to the university she joined the New Japan Film Harmony Symphony Orchestra as the first women's brass player in the Japanese orchestra.
She is a part-time lecturer at Ferris College, director of Japan Trombone Association. She studied trombones with Mr. Ki ITO, BRANIOME SLOKER.
In 2010, she held the first Japanese sakubat recital, solo album CD "Sakubatto's determination" released from King Records was highly valued in the record art magazine.
