Kazunari Yano began the drum at the age of 12. During his studies, he worked in numerous bands based in Kurume and Fukuoka.
Besides playing with Nishi Shin JA-JA, VIVRE HALL, Be-1, etc., he also started drum instructors in their twenties. Currently, he is acting extensively with narration other than drummers, singing CM songs.
In 1995, he joined "Hakata The Brisco". After leaving Brisco, he joined "MOON · BEAM" in 1996. He has a successful Drum Logos' performances and a one - man live event that mobilizes 600 people in the same place in 1998 (Fukuoka 's amateur band' s only mobilization record) and then moves the base of his activities to Tokyo and continues his activities based in Shimokitazawa and Shibuya.
In 2003 they renamed "THE MOONBEAM" while repeatedly changing members. At the same time, he formed "VOLA & THE ORIENTAL MACHINE" including bassist Mr. Yoshinori Ariue (MOON · BEAM) and a rhythm unit "THE DOMINATORS".
In "THE DOMINATORS", he was highly acclaimed not only as a drum player but also as a drum tuner and a chorus, and in Tokyo he is taking lessons entitled 'Draming for LIVE' for young prodrummer.
In 2013, he return the base of activities to Fukuoka.
Aside from continuing his own band MOONBEAM, the unit "KAKKIN & YANO" with MOONBEAM Vo. Kazuki Kakinoki (Kakin) and the unit "All That Blues Rock" with the ally blues rock guitarist ichiro from 2016 Week tour in Japan through tour of the country!
