Makitaka Maki (MIKEY) (Tokyo Gegegei)

Makitaka Maki ( March 26, 1983 ) is a Japanese dancer, director, choreographer. He is also active in MIKEY (Mikey) name.
He was born in Tokyo on March 26, 1983.

In Tachikawa city that he grew up there was a US Air Force Tachikawa base once, there were hip-hop stores managed by black people. The dance at such a store had a tendency such as a play of bad, there was no thing to enter, but junior high school student became a trigger to be conscious of street dance. Eventually, listening to the music of Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson, he sneak up hip-hop at home, at the rooftop of the night and so on to imitate it.

He belonged to a record company aiming to become a singer at the age of 19 and receive voice training and dance lessons, but the lessons from the foundation are boring and quit in half a year.

About 2005, he got to know MAIKO and set up Tokyo ☆ Kids. Around this time. The Tokyo ☆ Kids' show is getting wackier and gradually, the initial members were five people, "I can not keep up" eventually become MAIKO and two people, Tokyo ☆ Kids will be suspended.

In 2013, Maki gathered the students of the dance studio where he was a lecturer and formed Tokyo Gegegei. Tokyo Gegegei won the fifth generation DANCE @ HERO seat with the highest score in the dance contest DANCE @ HERO.
