Yoko Ikeyama is a pianist from Tsu city, Mie prefecture. She began the piano from the age of 4. She graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 2004. In the same year she entered the Vienna State College of Music, ending the master's course of the same graduate school in 2010. She received scholarship grants from Okada Cultural Foundation.
She received the No. 1 Joseph Dehirler International Music Competition in 2007 and a special prize.
In 2008 she received Maria · Canalse International Music Competition Diploma Winner.
She received the 1st prize at 2008 Obidos International Piano Competition.
She hold a debut recital at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan. She regularly hold solo recitals in Vienna, Tokyo, Tsu city, Mie prefecture. She co-starred with the 2012 Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra. She is doing ambitious performance activities such as chamber music and song accompaniment.
Currently, she is an associate Professor, Faculty of Education, University of Yamanashi, part-time lecturer at Music University of Music Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, part-time lecturer at Tokyo Gakuin Gakuin University, part-time assistant at Japan Women's University.
