JP The Wavy, originally know as Lil Right, is a 24-year-old rapper from Shōnan, Japan. He changed his name in 2016 to JP The Wavy because he wanted to be noticed as an individual in the crew D.T.R.I. So he came up with JP meaning Japan and WAVY came from American slang that he thought was trendy. He debuted at the begging of 2017 under a crew called D.T.RI.(Do The Right Inc.). JP The Wavy was 18 years old, in junior high, when he first started rapping. He's been rapping up until he made his debut in 2017 with a song called "Cho Wavy De Gomenne".
