Ito Takeshi (Itto Takeshi, March 15, 1954) is a Japanese fusion musician from Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. He plays Saxophone, wind synthesizer, flute player.
Since he was a child, he have interest in music and learn piano and violin. In Fukuoka Municipal Highway Junior High School era, he entered the brass band and was in charge of Euphonium and Tuba. Although he entered Seinan Gakuin High School and turned into a flute, he read the autobiography of Sadao Watanabe "Jazz for myself" and then turned to Alto saxophone.
He entered the Nihon University School of Arts and belongs to the "Rhythm Society Orchestra", and in parallel with it, he is registered in two bands "Witch Hunt" and "Last Day". Since Witch Hunt's drummer (Michael Kawai) was concurrently serving as THE SQUARE (later T - SQUARE) led by Ando Masayo, he appeared as a guest, joined THE SQUARE after the dissolution of Witch Hunt (1977).

Akira Sakata (坂田明; born 21 February 1945) is a Japanese free jazz saxophonist.
Sakata was born in Kure, Hiroshima. He began studying music seriously at high school, where he played clarinet. He played alto sax in a jazz band when at Hiroshima University. He trained as a marine biologist.
Sakata joined the Yamashita Yosuke Trio from 1972 till 1979 and toured internationally with them. In 1986, he performed with Last Exit with Bill Laswell. This performance was released as 1987's Noise of Trouble: Last Exit Live in Tokyo. Kazumi Watanabe (渡辺香津美) is a Japanese guitarist. He was born on October 14, 1953 in Tokyo, Japan.
