The chance to recognize her as a professional voice actor was "Bishoujo warrior sailor moon". Since she watched 45th anime episode "Sailor Warrior Death! The Tragic Final Battle" on TV, she was fascinated by the acting power of that story and became a voice actor. After that, from Tokyo, Oita Prefecture, after graduating from high school, she started studying acting and worked to earn the school fee herself.
Her favorite voice actor is Miyuki Sawashiro and Mayumi Tanaka. When she was a kid, she went to a concert of Junko Iwao and she had opportunity to talk with her. When Atsumi told that she would like to be a voice actor, Ms Iwao answered "I hope to co-act someday". When she later met Ms. Iwao at the scene, she talked about the situation at that time and both of them were very happy.
On 1st of June, 2015, she left the Tritri office, after a free period, she belonged to the Tokyo actor co-ops on October 1 of the same year.
