Ryohei Izumi is a Japanese opera singer. He graduated from Tokyo National University and received the Matsuda Toshi Prize. He completed the 10th Opera Training Center, Agency for Cultural Affairs. Izumi won a scholarship from Yasuda Life Quality of Life Cultural Foundation and the Goto Memorial Cultural Foundation and studied at the Milan Conservatory for five years.
He ranked the 3rd place in Japan Music Competition, the 1st prize in the Budapest International Vocal Competition. In New York, he performed with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. In Beijing, China he appeared at the Japan-China Gala Concert.
At the Japan Opera Association, he successfully starred in the festival of "Ryo and Sora" in 2015. He also appeared in the association "Mizuki" title role, "Tenpu Monogatari" Zhu's board, "Shinigami" Hayakawa and others. Currently, he is a member of the Tokyo Biannual Association, the Fujihara Opera Group, the Japan Opera Association.
