Sascha Goetzel (1970 -) is a conductor of classical music born in Vienna, Austria.
After joining as a violinist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, he turned to the conductor, studied under the Zubin meter, Riccardo Muti, Seiji Ozawa, and also studied at Jeuroma Panura at the Sibelius Conservatory.
Afterwards, he was the guest at the Vienna Ton Kyunstler Orchestra, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Birmingham City Symphony Orchestra and the North German Radio Symphony Orchestra.
In the opera, he has also appeared at the Vienna State Opera, Vienna Volksoper.
Currently he is appointed Bolsan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra art director / principal conductor, principal conductor of the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra.
In addition, he served as the lead conductor of the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra from April 1, 2013 to March 2017.
