Ketchup Kawai (April 24, 1975 -) is a Japanese comedian, moderator, stand-up comedians. Real name is, Motohiro Kawai. He was born in Kyoto city, Kyoto Prefecture.
In 1995 he made his debut from Otaki Agency as a member of a comedy group "Explosion Q" while he was in Osaka University of Arts.
After withdrawing from Explosion Q in 1998, and after forming and dissolution comedy group several times, he formed a comedy duo "Chimata" in 2001.
Since 2005, he belonged to KA Production, he moved to his office in conjunction with the establishment of Spanky Production in 2009.
Started activities as an actor from 2010, and will also appear in dramas and movies.
