yEAN (Yarn) is a Japanese male and female twin vocal rock band.
It features a melodic line with a sense of floating and musicality that incorporates various genres such as post rock, electro and punk.

The word "yean" meaning "the sheep give birth to their children" is the origin of the band name.

Originally from Chiba Prefecture, they debuted in 2012 with actwise on the mini album "4C". It will be talked about with excellent song writing and pop pop sense, but after a pause of activity due to member change, resume live activity from 2014. In 2015, it officially became six members and restarted.

Released the 1st mini album "NATURAL" in August and made a tour of 10 locations nationwide. In the final, they had a lively dance with a serious dance at night. Ending in great success!

In July 2016, 1st single "BoyBoyBoyBoyGoyGirlGirl !!!!" was released. They organize a release event in 3 locations where local Chiba is added to Tokyo and Osaka!

In August 2017, a bassist Yamamura Yuta was newly added to the present system.
In September, he established a joint label "LEMONPORICE RECORDS" with his friend RingRingLonelyRollss.
Released "lemon.ep" which will be the first label sound source in November.

In August 2018, yEAN releases the sound source for the first time in about 2 years, "From now and in the future" from the LEMONPORICE RECORDS. Do release tours in Chiba, Tokyo and Osaka.

Melody and live performances are a must-see. They are extremely active.
