Nichijou ( 日常? ) Is a manga comic Japan by Keiichi Arawi ( あらゐけいいちArawi Keiichi ? ) Wrote and illustrated. Manga series begins each issue in December 2006 of the magazine Shōnen Ace of Kadokawa Shoten , and also posted sequential each issue by Comptiq from between 7/2008 3/2007 to month. Kadokawa Shoten published 9 tankōbon volumes of the manga series, with the 10th and final volume released in December 2015. Set in a Japanese suburban city, Nichijou contained the arrangement of all characters, moments depicting their daily lives alternating between everyday life and oddities, without much focus on a story.

A 26 episode adaptation anime was directed by Tatsuya Ishihara and produced by Kyoto Animation aired all over Japan from mid-April to September 2014, after which an early OVA (original video animation) was released on 3/3. 2014. A PlayStation Portable game by Vridge and Kadokawa Games was released on July 28, 2011, titled Nichijou: Uchuujin .

The manga and anime series were originally licensed in North America by Bandai Entertainment in July 2011, but both versions were canceled due to shrinking the size of the company. The manga series was later licensed to publish in English by Vertical , with the first volume released in the second quarter, 2016. The anime series licensed by Madman Entertainment in 2011 distributed to Australia and New Zealand , released the DVD into April and May 2013.
