"orange pekoe" is a Japanese Jazz-Brazillian-Soul music duo by Tomoko Nagashima (Vocals / Lyrics), Kazuma Fujimoto (Guitar / Composition & Arrangements) .
Their performance style varies from a Duo to a Band, and sometimes in a Big Band style Orchestra of 18 members, which renowned them as one of the most unique and most talented group in Japan. They have success of touring concert hall tour nation wide, including the big and famous Shibuya Kokaido and NHK Hall in Tokyo. Tomoko's beautiful voice and Kazuma's amazing guitar performance "orange pekoe" easily broke the borders of language and has been booked in Korea, Thailand and New York, which is very unusual for a group that only sings in Japanese.

Debut in 2001 with their mini album "orangepekoe". The record was charted in playlists of many club DJs in Japan and drew attention of major record companies. In 2002, they've signed to BMG Japan and release their first single "Happy Valley" which was first song in Japan to be power played in 32 radio stations nation wide. The following month they released their first album "Organic Plastic Music" which sold 400 Thousand copies. They've also succeeded in their nation wide concert hall tour in 2002, which led to win many awards including the "2002 Japan Gold Disc Award - Artist of the Year".
Since their debut, they've released 6 full Albums, each with beautiful artworks done by top Japanese designers like, Kunie Kanbara and Asami Kiyokawa, which make "orange pekoe" album even more special.
