THE BRICK'S TONE (The Brix Tone) is a Japanese rock band. Members are Taro Shinohara (Vocal & Guitar), Hideo Furukawa (Vocal & Bass), Toshihiko Otsuki (Vocal & Drums). Before the formation of Brickstone, Taro Shinohara and Toshihiko Otsuki enrolled in a band called "Breakers". Breakers included 80's Tokyo beat scene that Masatoshi Mashima of Blue Hearts was also a member.
The band had a long time of activity started in 1988. THE BRICK'S TONE debuted from BMG Victor in 1993. After releasing two albums, they returned to the indie scene, now they are actively focusing on live houses in the city.
