He graduated from Tokyo Art University, after completing the master's degree at the same graduate school, enrolled in the Paris National Academy of Advanced Music. He was trained as an overseas trainee for the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Masanori Oishi (Masanori Ocoshi, March 30, 1977) is a saxophone player of Japanese classical music and contemporary music.

He was born in Ishikawa Prefecture, from Chiba Prefecture, he lives in Yokohama City. He started saxophone at a junior high school brass band club. He graduated from Tokyo Art University in 1999. He enrolled in Master's program at Tokyo Art University. He completed Master's degree at Tokyo Art University in 2001. He traveled to France in September of the same year and entered Paris National High Music and Dance School. He trained as an overseas trainee for the Agency for Cultural Affairs dispatched from 2002 to 2004. He took short-term study abroad at the Amsterdam Conservatory in 2004. In June of the same year, he graduated from the Paris National High Music and Dance School Sachsophon and Chamber Music, and in 2006, he graduated from the improvisation class all with the best results. In addition, he advanced to Paris National Higher Music and Dance School Third Course Chamber Music (Saxophone Quartet) from 2005 and completed in June 2007. He has received grants from the Yasuda Life Quality of Life Cultural Foundation, the Meyer Foundation, the Erasmus Foundation, and the Societe Generale Foundation. Performed in 2008 Tokyo Opera City Cultural Foundation "B C". Blue Aurora Saxophone Quartet member from 2011 to 2016 who received high evaluation on the Asahi Shimbun. Currently, he is a part-time lecturer at Tokyo Art University, Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, and Toho Music University.
