Pupupu is a three piece girl band formed in 2014 in Kagoshima with a focus on Gt / Vo Yunshan. Currently, there are three members, Gt / Vo Yunshan, Ba / Cho Peingu and Dr Atsuko. It is a seemingly silly band name "Pupupu", but the live performance is extremely fantastic. The chorus work created with different voice quality of Yunshan and Peyang is played on a simple guitar, a singing bass line, a powerful and pop drum. On October 3rd, 2018, their single "obsidian" was released. In December 2018, they are active based from Kagoshima to Tokyo.
In July 2014, they appeared as an OA on the "Shoven Knife" over drive "Japan Tour-Kagoshima-". They also appeared on "WALK INN ROCK FESTIVAL" in April of the following year. The second single "Pupupu" was released at the same time as the mini-Kansai tour in December 2015.
