Tanabe Shiori is a Japanese shakuhachi player. He is a member of the "Bamboo Flute Orchestra", a shakuhachi project consisting of five female shakuhachi players, and a leader of the Japanese musical instrument unit NADeshiko J.
He began his shakuhachi at the beginning of his father Tanabe Sasayama at the age of 16 and studied with Fujiwara Michiyama. Won the 2nd place in the 16th National High School Japanese Music Competition (Okayama Korakuen Rotary Club Award) (1st place in the shakuhachi division).

Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduated from the Graduate School of Music. While attending school, he was appointed No.1 at the Tozan-Syushaku Hakkakai Associate Normal Examination. After graduation, the same teacher exam chief no. NHK Japanese music audition passed.

Participated in the opening song of NHK World "NHK NEWS LINE". Participated as a lecturer in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's program to foster children by cultural and cultural arts since 2004. Participated in the CDs of "10th Anniversary Concert" Koto "-SAN-" (Michiyama Fujiwara) and "Edo Shingo Works Kuto no Daichi" (Edo Shingo). On November 6 of the same year, the music video of the recorded song "Jupiter" of the album "Shakuhachi Classic" was released.
