"Love Junk" is the first full-scale entertainment school in the world for people with Down Syndrome. They are offering lessons and performances such as dance and theater. The headmaster of this school is is the former Okinawa actor school instructor, former member of SUPER MONKEY'S, Makino Anna.
The school opened in October 2002 with the goal of spreading awareness for Down Syndrome in the world by having people with Down Syndrome feel entertained. Started activities from Tokyo / Yokohama, Osaka. Lesson started in 2006. Currently it is based in these three cities, as well as holding one-day experience classes according to requests from all over the country including Ishikawa prefecture and Gifu prefecture.
At the 8 th Down Syndrome World Congress held in Singapore in 2004, Love Junks performance and its teaching methods were introduced and attention was also drawn from experts gathering from all over the world and families of Down Syndrome people.

In 2010, 52 members of Love Junks appeared in the 24-hour television series "Ai wo Tsuyoshi " of Japanese TV series. In collaboration with AKB 48, they performed Michael Jackson's special medley as Love Junks & AKB 48.
In recent years it has expanded the range of activities beyond dance, and in 2013 and 2014 they participated in th musical collaboration "Wynn" between the theater company and the Neyagawa citizen theater company.
