Folca is a rock band from Kobe. There is no meaning in the band name, it is a coined word. Originally formed as a quartet in Kobe in 2008, Folca relocated to Tokyo in 2011.

In july 2008 they had the first live in Kobe. After that the band has appeared in many stages and TV shows. Their second album was released on February 22nd, 2016.

The band's longtime drummer Miyamoto Masaaki withdrew in 2014 and now Folca performs as a trio.
