Koji Oda

Koji Oda (May 17, 1962-) is a Japanese saxophone and flute player.
Born in Bungotakada City, Oita Prefecture, raised in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture (officially the birthplace is Shimonoseki City). After graduating from Toyoura Senior High School in Yamaguchi Prefecture, he joined the horn section "BIG HORNS BEE" of the US CLUB in July 1990 under the name Orita Novotna. Since then, he has performed as a studio musician and support member with BB King, Char, TUBE, Yuki Koyanagi, Ken Hirai, Toshi Yonekura, Masayuki Suzuki and others.

He is also known as a brass band enthusiast, contributing to band music magazines, co-starring and guest appearances with amateur band groups from all over the country (general band groups such as citizen band bands and band groups in junior high and high schools). And we also provide clinic guidance. As a teacher at music vocational schools, etc., he also gives guidance on the future.
